Even though I didn't like the fight announcement and there were better options - Berlanga just gets under my skin so much I'm actually glad to watch the severe beating he's about to get.

Wonder is Joshua is one of those fighters who doesn’t know when to quit?

Just dominated from Round 1. The crazy part was that he had Dubois stunned in that last round and tried to end the fight and ended up getting KO’d.

Joshua has always had a bit of a glass jaw, which is hard to reconcile considering when you look at him, he's built like a brick (out)-house. But he reminds me a bit of Deontay Wilder in that both guys seemingly lack just that little something - a jaw, technique, whatever - that keeps them from really being true top-flight fighters. Which is why if they ever fight each other, it would be interesting. Or, it would have been interesting, like 4-5 years ago.

I watched the Munguia-Bazinyan fight on ESPN this past weekend. It was a decent bout and reasonably competitive. I'm not sure Munguia is ever going to be the superstar that was predicted for him in his early days, but he's still an upper tier fighter at 160-and-below.

Who is even really exciting that's out there right now? I am a below-casual-level fight fan at this point.

Joshua has self confidence problems He was unsure about the fight at the weigh in saw that Dubois was not playing thrn he is asking peoplr to pray for him before the fight.. Last time I heard that Michael Spinks was blasted by Tyson and was shaking in the ring. Dubouis stuck to his gameplan and never over committed even when he had Joshua hurt!! he timed Joshua up for that KO. In boxing you gotta have a im not losing at all costs attitude!! Joshua sometimes has it but its evident somethings going on with him mentally!!

I think Dubois's perfect counterpunch to end the fight was partly contributable to him being slightly dazed as Joshua rushed in. Even slightly hurt he had Anthony's number from start to finish.

I didn't know about the prayer thing but that's not a good thing to bring up from a psychological standpoint.

Yeah, Spinks was frozen with fear from the very beginning. Even loose he didn't stand much of a chance.

Bivol rarely clinched and there were times in the fight where Beterbiev would go on a run as Bivol used his outstanding footwork to absorb less punishment. But Beterbiev was caught with several counter combos so the judges had to weigh that against Artur’s heavy hands even on blocked punches (Bivol later commented on Beterbiev’s power being felt even when connecting with glove). It was a close fight but I thought 116-112 (effectively 8 rounds to 4) in Arthur’s favor was a bit much. It was a good fight and I’d like to see a rematch

What you guys think about the upcoming bout between Mike Tyson and Jake Paul? Do you see Tyson putting up a good show against a much younger opponent this Friday?

I am praying that Tyson drops out. He is a 60 yr old man whose punch resistance. quick burst stamina reflexes and perception is gone. I dont care how mych he says he trained he is 60 and on top of that took beatings and abused drugs. This simply has to be a scripted exhibition no way Tyson puts his name and legacy on the line. Its like they said this is all fun and games until one of theses old men get seriously hurt!! sad man!!

I could care less about the Tyson/Paul "exhibition"...I'm here for Taylor v Serrano part two! When those two ladies sparred off in 2022, it ended being one of the best bouts of the decade.
