^Finally, he's fighting an actual solid opponent. Should be interesting.

Also, what's up with martinez not being allowed to wear his knee brace in the cotto fight? http://www.boxingnews24.com/2014/06/...t-on-saturday/

They let yuri foreman wear it when he fought cotto. That's completely messed up and should be over ruled. A knee brace doesn't give martinez any kind of advantage.

I agree. Ridiculous. The New York State Athletic Commission throwing it's weight around.

Now Mayweather has dropped Golden Boy

Hours after Richard Schaefer's Monday resignation as chief executive of Golden Boy Promotions following months of infighting with company co-founder/majority shareholder/president Oscar De La Hoya, pound-for-pound king Floyd Mayweather Jr. dumped the comp

Not a real shock to me. Floyd and DLH are not close add to that all the little shots DLH takes insinuating that he beat Floyd. It might take a few years but I could see Golden Boy start to slip a bit as the top promotion in boxing.

Stuff like that is the main reason why I never liked DLH.

Yeah, and the fact that he always claims he has the blueprint to beat mayweather. To quote mayweather, "how is it a blueprint if you lost"

I don't see Geale as any more of a threat than GGG's last opponents.

Look him up man, he's waaay more solid than any of his last opponents(who most of which were literally nobodies), and he's ranked as the #2 middleweight by the ring. He also has wins over solid opponents like felix sturm and anthony mundine. I don't know if he's a threat, but he is a step up from any of GGG's opponents.

He also said Floyd was and is the best and that he beat him in a video clear as day.

On the other hand, it's hard NOT to take shots at PBF because of his behaviour. An example off the top of my head is how he interrupted in the middle of one of max kellerman's face off's to get his lacky to show him bball scores.

An REAL threat will be here in the United States. I saw both of them fight.

I was never overly impressed with Sturm or Geale. I don't think either have the power to deal with GGG.

Yeah, Geale may be a slight step up from Macklin, but I still think Curtis Stevens is a bad, bone crushing dude.

Yeah, but geale has a better resume.
