the Walters/Sosa draw was won of the worst decisions i've ever seen. i had Walters winning 99-91.....unbelievable! ......Jennings showed alot of heart, but Ortiz was simply too big, too strong, and too accurate with his power punches. definitely looking forward to seeing Ortiz more!

      Agreed!
The judges involved with the Walters-Sosa fight need to be fired and possibly jailed for taking obvious bribes. It wasn't even close. Sosa may have won 1 or 2 rounds - at the most - and even that's a stretch.

      Ortiz is a beast!
But I have to say, I'm really impressed with Jenning's athleticism.
He didn't start boxing until he was 18 (due to football injury) and despite only having 17 amateur bouts, hung in with Wlad for 12 rounds and took a very experienced Ortiz deep.
He may never be a world champion, but he should be extremely proud of what he's accomplished as a pro boxer with such limited experience.*

I hope Ortiz gets a shot soon. I'm sure all the big names will avoid him like the plague, but this man needs a shot now before his age gets the best of him.
      That window is closing fast.

*It makes you wonder how many could-be champions are out there right now plying their trade on the gridiron instead of a ring.
It's too bad boxing isn't a scholastic endeavor capable of giving kids full-ride scholarships.
I know it was at one point, but a death during an NCAA tournament shut things down.

Having John David Jackson in Jennings corner is a plus, just don't know if he has the size and power to hang with some of the bigger and heavier hitters in the division. I would like to see him take on either Stiverne, Arreola or the guy that almost upset Arreola his last fight.

On The Fight Game Max Kellerman called Andre Ward the "best fighter in the world" but compared his non-pleasing style with Mayweather's and criticized Andre for pulling out of a "seven figure payday" with an unknown opponent as part of the undercard for Cotto-Canelo. Apparently there was no injury just some knee swelling. Lampley contended that Ward's inactivity would make him an underdog against Kovalez.

The Fight Game's Top Ten Pound For Pound:

        (10) Tim Bradley, (9) Kell Brook, (8) Vasyl Lomachenko, (7) Manny Pacquiao, (6) Terence Crawford, (5) Andre Ward, (4) Canelo Alavarez, (3) Sergey Kovalez, (2) Gennady Golovkin, (1) Roman “Chocolatito” Gonzalez

Mikey Garcia's inactivity will soon reach two years. I guess his dispute with Top Rank hasn't been settled yet?

The President is back and wants to continue his career.
Looks like Ike will be fighting on the Pacman undercard:

It's a shame what happened to this guy as a fighter and a human being.
The stuff he did to earn his jail time was atrocious - especially what he did to that young boy.

I've heard some boxing experts say that his war with Tua altered his mind. There have been instances where fighters aren't the same after engaging in brawls. I wonder if that's what happened with Ibeabuchi?

I hope for society's sake his mind is right again and he won't hurt another person outside a boxing ring.

Forgot about him. Shades of Tony Ayala Jr, although Ike was not quite as heralded.

If Pac's next opponent is Bradley, Khan, or Broner, I wouldn't complain, although I would prefer Thurman or Brook.

Pacquiao-Bradley 3 official for April 9th. I didn't even realize Teddy Atlas trained Bradley for his dominating win over Rios.

Apparently Atlas and Roach don't like each other, but Teddy said he's not selling that, saying, "It's about Timmy, not about me and Freddie."

Awful fight. Just as bad as Floyd's final fight imo.

Pac-Bradley. Both fights were bad and NOBODY is pining for a third one.

I said I wouldn't complain, but I also wouldn't pay for it. There will be some pining by Pac fans, since the fight will be almost a year from his bout with Mayweather.

I have no interest in buying this either; which is a shame because I'm interested to see how Ibeabuchi looks after such a long layoff.

I would have def purchased if Pac was fighting Garcia, Crawford or Khan at 140.

Keith Thurman and Shawn Porter might be happening as early as February.

Yeah, and if you watched the fight you would immediately have remembered how over-dramatic he is in the corner...It's like every round is the last round against Ivan Drago or something.

Don't get me wrong, in general I like Atlas, and I think he is/was a pretty talented trainer, but I think he's better as an analyst at this point in his career. But what do I know? Bradley looked good against Rios which means...what, I have no idea. But I'm not camping out for Bradley-Pac part 3 tickets.

Wilder vs Szpilka tonight on ShowTime. The better fight will probably be on the main undercard between Charles Martin and Vyacheslav Glaskov for Tyson Fury's short lived IBF title.
