Haymon is pretty business savy and has worked with HBO in the past. If this is a fight both parties want I think we will get it.

I accidentally saw the result so it lessened my enthusiasm to see my DVR recording. I'll try to watch it before the end of the week.

I don't see Saunders as anything more than Everlast equipment for GGG-He's a good light hitting boxer who would bring a rubber knife to a Bazooka fight. It would be somewhat interesting to see how long his skills could delay the inevitable destruction.

Lee couldn't beat Saunders but his punching power makes him a more viable opponent for GGG.

That's the best 160 bout to see, because the great warriors (Canelo and Cotto) aren't available.

          It's all posturing though.
Alvarez is a full-fledged MW since he re-hydrates to over 180 and walks around at 190.
In their sparring session, Alvarez was bigger than Golovkin.

Where he needs to 'grow into a MW body' is actually fighting MW fighters and getting used to their power.
Once he won the 160lb strap (by fighting in a 155lb catchweight - thanks WBC!), he should have stayed there and fought a few legit MW's.
Instead, he trashed his WBC belt as fast as he could and ran back to the comfortable JRMW division where his rehydration gave him a huge advantage over guys who were merely blown up welterweights.

I honestly do not believe that Yellow could beat any of the top 5 or 6 MW's in the world right now, let alone Triple-G.
Jacobs, Saunders, Quillen, hell, Lee, would all probably beat him. And easily.
I also think if Yellow fought Brooks at 154, he'd lose.

Alvarez is only good because he can Bane-out in the 24-hours before the fight and carry in anywhere between 10 to 20 lb advantage into the ring.
He is smoke and mirrors and the minute he fights a top contender without that weight advantage he will fold like De La Hoya at a Victoria's Secret Spring sale.

lol....it is true though, he has yet to face a full-fledged MW so he needs to do that first before even thinking about triple g.

I think he could beat Lee or Saunders...the rest I honestly don't know, because he's never fought a true middleweight. I don't think he's interested in fighting at 160 anytime in the near future.

Brooks at 154 is a fight I think he'd make and the Sky Sports connection could add to the lucrativeness of that bout. Brooks didn't show me enough against GGG (other than courage) to make me that certain that he could go up and beat a very good junior middleweight. I would love to see that fight though.

Best fight for ggg right now is Jacob's I think.

canelo vs. saunders seems to make the most sense right now....at least he is a full fledged middleweight.

Yeah, you can imagine what the offer was when Oscar initially implied that it could be a 10-90 share.

                          Blatant ducking.

Funny thing is I doubt he would've fought that December fight anyways. He rarely fights more than twice in a year anyways. Shoot everyone is looking forward to Kovalev Ward anyways. Biggest fight of the year

Biggest light-heavyweight bout since Spinks vs Dwight Braxton (Qawi) in the early 80's, which was actually on regular TV.
