Ohhh damn, what an amazing fight .... congratz to joshua. Klitchko was tough and suprisingly agile in the ring.

If Wilder/Joshua happens (it won't) it will be the biggest fight in boxing in years. Joshua is better than him but I don't think anyone has the one shot power of Wilder.

Can't embed tweets at OS so here's the link to that massive Joshua uppercut in the 11th.

without a doubt.....it was ppv worthy, that's for sure. this fight had everything. first time knockdowns (for each) in consecutive rounds, joshua being tested after the 7th round, klitschko coming back, joshua coming on strong (surprisingly) in the later rounds and finishing him off. klitschko had one heck of a chin and has the heart of a true champion. he looked much better than he did against fury too. joshua's chin wasn't bad by any means either. 90,000 in attendance was impressive as well. wilder/joshua has to happen.

Here is a 16 second clip that highlights that brutal uppercut from another angle.

Bellew (after moving to HW) vs Wilder would be great aswell and fury, if he really comes back, should fight Joshua. And then the 2 winners of each bout fight eachother.

There is some talk about a rematch Klitchko vs Joshua could happen aswell. As much as i'd like to see it, Wladimir won't become younger, unfortunately. When Joshua got his 2nd wind in the later rounds and started to 'explode' in Round 11..... he was still very fast in his actions. That's the difference between 27 years and 41 years. If Klitchko, like Lennox said, would have gone to the body after Joshua's Knockout, the fight could had been gone in favour for Klitchko.

If Klitchko wants the rematch he'll get it-I wonder what their two fight contract specifies?

Moot point but I wonder how many judges (if any) scored the fifth round 10-9 and not 10-8 for Joshua?

I am probably wrong but I thought Farwood said that one judge did. I think.

I was wondering the same. WK came back strong after being floored.

Overall, what a terrific fight! Also a bit sad considering Wlad's terrific career and the fact that he probably gained more respect in this loss than all of his wins he accrued during his decade-long reign.

And am I the only one that was disappointed hearing Joshua called out Shannon Briggs?
I get it. He wants an easy fight to make some dough before getting back in the water with real killers.
But still... Would have loved to hear him call out Fury or Wilder.

He did call out Fury in the ring. I didn't hear any mention to Wilder though. That is very disappointing. Those two are probably the best fight right now besides a rematch. I think Fury is a clown. I know KW was embarrassed to lose to him. Glad he looked a lot better against Joshua. I have a feeling the Wilder fight won't happen because of politics which is sad.
