Wilder has a powerful right cross but it looked a lot more powerful when he was putting stiffs to sleep with it. Yeah he's KOed 37 of 38 but many have gone in the deeper rounds while absorbing several straight rights until things finally caught up with them. Joshua can kill you with the cross, left hook and uppercut.

A lot of potential great fights in the HVW division.

Great HW fight. Division is much better when guys physically look and hit like that. Lots of good fights going forward. I know Klitchko has a rematch clause but if he would postpone as long as AJs next fight is a unification that would be phenomenal.

But to say boxing gets serious because there's finally a good heavyweight fight? Open your eyes and pay more attention to the other weight classes, man. They've been more exciting than the heavyweights for the last 15 years.

            Where have you been?
pk, you were right!!! good call, man. the heavyweight division is back!!! this fight reminded me of bowe vs. holyfield. honestly, i wasn't sure what to expect considering klitschko's style, but man this fight delivered. now if they can just make the future matchups we want to see, we can see some ppv worthy fights.

Joshua is a better boxer. Wilder has scary power still. Sure guys have taken shots from him and gone deeper. It generally happens when you face better fighters. But he still is capable of putting guys out with one punch better than anyone right now.

                  totally agree.

I heard rumours Canelo Alvarez from the Backstreetboys finally wants to fight the beast in the middleweight-division. After watching klitchko vs joshua his 2nd ball suddenly popped out of between his legs.

Unless I missed something not too many guys are calling out Ortiz.

This from the article I'm about to link.

Ortiz is the WBA's mandatory challenger and was supposed to be next in line to face Joshua, but earlier this week WBA President Gilberto J Mendoza said that he may give the Joshua-Klitschko winner a "special permit" to make a voluntary defense before facing mandatory challenger Ortiz.

maybe a special permit to unify the titles?

                        The face-off with some commentary.

I think the commentary just echo's what a lot of us feel.

Say what we will about Chavez, at least he was pretty much 100% honest and real with his comments. I kind of hope he stops Canelo - and even if he does, that wouldn't necessarily mean he doesn't fight GGG right?

Weird head to head- Carrot-Top doesn't speak English and Junior makes GGG and Kovalez seem articulate.

Are you saying even if Yellow Canelo loses he could still fight Golovkin?

This was the best heavyweight title fight since Bowe-Holyfield I. Full credit to Wlad for going out on his shield. He attacked, unlike in his title defenses since getting clocked by Brewster and Sanders, and paid the price.

But Klitschko earned more respect in defeat than he ever did in any title defense while playing safety first.

Good Lord, please stop. Pacquiao-Mayweather did 4 million PPV buys in the USA two years ago. De La Hoya-Mayweather did 2.6 million PPV buys in 2007.

Wilder-Joshua won't break 1.5 million PPV buys in the USA. People outside of hardcore fans and the UK discovered Joshua for the first time Saturday night, and no one knows who Wilder is. Plus hardcore fight fans don't respect him.

Wilder is a nobody in the public sports consciousness. He's barely even a significant player in boxing.

Plus Joshua would wipe out Wilder within six rounds.

Bellew is a blown-up cruiserweight with limited skills. He would struggle against any big heavyweight, even the incredibly overrated Wilder.
