It was a good tough fight. I thought Jacobs clearly won but a Sulecki VS "A Charlo" bout would not be out of the question assuming they make one of the brothers an offer worth taking.

GGG a 30-1 favorite Saturday night but I'll still watch.

Not really that interested in Bellow-Haye even if I could watch it.

I feel like this could be a good time to put some cash down on the 30-1 dog Martirosyan. It's a flyer, sure, but crazier things have happened, and on short-notice with GGG training for a different opponent...why not?

I just read an article that mentioned the 30-1 odds. You're really only getting 11-1 on Martirosyan (+1100). The 30-1 is applicable to GGG's winning odds of -3000 or 1/30.

EDIT: 11-1 is still good odds, but not good enough. A successful $100 bet on Golovkin gives you a profit of $3.30.

Because Martirosyan is a stiff who hasn't fought since May 2016. There's no question GGG will take out his frustration at the cancellation of the Canelo fight by pummeling Martirosyan.

            KO or TKO 4.

I think he will get pummeled too mostly because he's not nearly as good as GGG, his inactivity, and the fact he's moving up from 154. I don't think he's a stiff-many fans thought he beat Jermell Charlo three years ago and in two fights with Lara he has a technical draw and a decision lost in a relatively competitive but boring fight.

I know there were bouts lost and scheduling conflicts but how much do you really want to fight if you take two years off without injuries and contract squabbles? He will not be battle hardened when he enters the ring Saturday night against a guy that never takes any time off.

he's only in it for the payday and the only one willing to take on GGG it looks like...

Yeah, probably his biggest payday, reportedly between $600K-$750K a king's ransom considering GGG will fall around $2.5 million.

I had posted this before in some form or at least referenced it but it illustrates the volatile nature of sports odds particularly before the use of the internet by the masses.

Poor comparison. Tyson barely trained for that fight, with his friends as his corner men. GGG trained like an animal, anticipating the Canelo rematch, with the great Abel Sanchez in his corner.

Yet another reason GGG will kill him. GGG was set for a $10 million-plus payday if the Canelo fight went through.

He'll take out his financial frustrations on Martirosyan's face and body.

With friends like that who needs enemies?

Tyson's corner men didn't even bring ice bags or an end swell into the corner for the fight. So they used the famous rubber glove filled with cold water as an end swell, as JayBee's great photo shows.

Those idiots should have been charged with reckless endangerment! But it was Tyson's fault; he wanted to be surrounded by sycophants and yes men instead of proper trainers like Cus d'Amato (who had died by then) and his assistant, Kevin Rooney.

Pretty awesome to see Edmond Tarverdyan in the ring with GGG.
