I'm legit interested in this bout. It'll be interesting to see who has what left.
I doubt we see a stoppage, but hopefully Pac can carve up Broner and retire him.
This is a REALLY fun fight. Pacquiao-Khan would be the same.

Man I am also excited about this fight for some odd reason..I guess because both have alot on the line and I like the matchup of speed..Broner is going to have to come out of that 5 rd funk that he gets into every fight..

The only question is what weight? I can't see Mayweather fighting any heavier than 154, and it would be a real squeeze for Canelo to make that weight and give him an instant excuse after losing.
I can't see Floyd taking this bait...At this point Floyd is officially old and it will show up in the ring..Canelo is a much better fighter than he was the first time and also stronger..this would not be pretty..Trust me Floyd knows who to stay away from at this point in his career..It's not about being in shape but inactivity and age causes reflex loss which floyd has depended on..he was getting hit enough in his last fights that I wouldn't want to see him go out like that..father time spares no one... he will keep earning quick bucks against the McGregors and Khabibs of the world..

I am too but I still see AB with low punch output.

Nobody's asking for this fight. And it's a no-risk fight at that.
I still believe Canelo loses this fight. It'll happen at 154, Alvarez will starve himself and I really do believe that Mayweather, despite being older, would absolutely school him.
And losing to Mayweather isn't a loss. You won't take any punishment and you lost to an unbeaten all-time great.
And if he does win? Woopdie-do. You beat a 40YO dude fighting above his weight class - especially considering Mayweather will probably come in at 150 and Canelo will be 175.

He should be looking at cleaning up at 160. There are a lot of good fights out there he shouldn't be engaging in fluff bouts.

At this point losing to a 42 yr old mayweather twice who has fought once in 3 yrs will derail his train...Canelo knows he will win...

Negative. Mayweather sticks and runs to another easy victory.

Canelo's boxing has improved. But he's still nowhere near the same class as a boxer and defensive fighter as Mayweather. And Canelo's power edge will be neutered at 154.

The only positive for Canelo in a Mayweather bout is heaps of cash. But the dude just signed a $365 million contract. Money is not a worry for Mr. Cinnamon.

Agree w/ everything you said except the last point: there's never enough money. Probably 2/3 of his DAZN contract will go to Golden Boy / de la Hoya, taxes eat a bunch of what's left, and while that's still a lot, there's no one so rich they'd turn down another couple million. Mayweather has made enough for many lifetimes, but he somehow still needs more.

Man Maywearher doesnt have the legs to do that ..Canelo is in his prime and confidence is up..maywearher is not the fighter he was that first fight..I saw signs of slippage even against mcgregor...I dont care if he is superman you can only pull that inactivity card for so long at his age..if he didnt rely on his speed and reflexes so much I can at least picture it but those are the first things that go and his legs have been shaky for a bit..he knows its time up..he cant put his body through that training again..canelo is a good fighter even though I hate to say it..floyd doesnt want any part of it..the one thing floyd cherises the most is that record..he wont risk it now..

i'm intrigued as well....IF manny knocks broner out, then the interest level in a mayweather rematch goes up for sure. it would serve as a fine tuneup for a floyd rematch too. question is, does floyd want a tuneup or not? and enough of this khabib nonsense. he is not a striker like conor by any means and no one is demanding it either.

I agree it doesnt matter how much you train or stay in shape at some point your reflexes and speed go..he will find that he cant quite pull the trigger like he wants to and those little shots that missed him by less than inch will suddenly connect..his inactivity doesnt help either..look closely at his last fights even mcgregor he got hit and was stationary for the most part..I admire his skills but father time is undefeated..

I think pac is a easier proposition at this point..what he thinks he can do and what he actually can is the question..pac presents a lower risk though I cant see people paying for that unless he beats broner in a good fashion..Im all for my man getting the loot but at some point its going to back fire..

Mayweather would be the favorite against Pac.
