Broner made sure he made that weight. That penalty made sure he showed up on weight.

Mikey Garcia is the better boxer IMO, but who knows what his long lay-off did to him and his overall career trajectory? At any rate, Broner at <140-lbs is definitely a more fearsome opponent than Broner trying to fight at 147. It seems pretty clear that Broner has no real future at welterweight, so he has to make the sub-welterweight classes his domain. Garcia can't seem to find fights at lightweight, so....I suppose this is a happy coincidence?

I like Garcia 8 rounds to 4 for Broner. I'd be surprised (pleasantly!) if there was a stoppage either way.

I think Broner's low punch output will probably give Garcia a decision. "The Problem" takes a good punch.

For some reason I like Mikey Garcia to "shock the world" and win this before it goes to the cards. He has heavy hands and I don't think Broner has faced power like this.

He probably has when he was trying to fight at 147...I would say Maidana and Porter have pretty good pop - and, to your point, both of them sent him to the canvas.

              WHO HAS MIKEY GARCIA FOUGHT!!!???

I mean who has the guy fought,Besides Salido...... and Maidana & Porter would have whooped Salido. Mikey still fighting them small *** guys.
Don't get me wrong mikey is a very sound solid fighter. He's smart, have good power "at lightweight" (I GUARANTEE, he won't have that power at welterweight).
Most of all his strongest attribute is that he is Fundamentally sound!.
you guys talk about broner low punch output, Mikey don't throw no more than broner. According to compubox numbers Broner throws more punches per round than Garcia. Get the Facts straight.

I think it will be a good fight, but Mikey is going home with a L tonight.
Broner gone whoop his Basic ***.

                I don't if that's a "shock the world" result.

He's faced good 147 power from Maidana and Porter and both were very aggressive with their attacks.

I don't know that Broner will commit himself enough to be vulnerable enough to be KOed by Garcia. Mikey will take what Adrien gives him.

On the other hand, Broner looked a little drained at the weigh-in and his face appeared thin even behind the beard.

I'm trying to figure out how you match up Salido against Maidana and Porter. I guess I'll have to say it because it's fact:

Gennedy Golovkin would beat the crap out of that excuse for a fighter Vasyl Lomachenko!!

Get your weight class right. They're fighting at junior welterweight.

                    Re: Boxing Off-Topic

Firstly, Jr Welterweight is a sub division of Welterweight just like light heavyweight is a subdivision of heavyweight. At the end of the day its still in the Welterweight division, its just a subdivision, Which is totally different from Lightweight.

Secondly, You sound silly af comparing GGG to lomanchenko. Marcos Maidana started out fighting at lightweight and Porter is a true welterweight, which is only 2 divisons away from Salido, unlike how you stated GGG AND lomanchenko which is a whole 4 divisions higher and a 20b difference. Know what your talking about.

and Last but not least Like i stated before and no one could give an answer as to who was mikey garcia fought?

Broner started out at Lightweight and moved up 2 weight divisions, unlike garcia who wants to stay at lightweight fighting smaller opponents. Broner is used to fighting bigger guys, unlike garcia. Broner is faster, stronger, more athletic, better foot speed and hand speed, fought bigger and better opponents, and has better head movement & more experience than Garcia.

Yeah, I was saying to my friend the other day two of the greatest fighters in all of the heavyweight subdivisions are Michael Spinks and Archie Moore.
