No it was he burned his energy when he tried two quick bursts in the first two rounds and tired like a 60 yr old man would. It takes energy to move into punching position and energy to block and evade punches. He was hurt everytime he was touched with a devent punck Paul laid off of him. It was so sad seeing this man first trip going into the ring then
    becoming a literal punching bag!!
THANKS FOR THE TRADE SANDIEGO KEEP RIVERS WE'LL TAKE ELI

my wife said "he looked better in training" and that he did. some broken promises too. paul vowing to knockout mike, it was free but with a catch (streaming issues). this SHOULD have been an exhibition as well (even the rocky balboa movie had enough sense to do that).

Munguia’s defense finally caught up to him last night. It was only a matter of time before it got exposed, I just thought it would be against a tougher fighter at 168.

I think Morrell gets exposed next against Benavidez. Their power isn’t coming up with them like it did at the lower weight classes either.

Roach definitely should have had a knockdown, I don’t care about grease in Tank’s eyes.

              Gary Russell Jr though….dominant.

              Great night for the DMV!

exactly. tank could have waved to the ref and ASKED for a timeout (since he couldn't see) without resorting to the knee, but a knee is a knee and that (in the rules) is a knockdown. for whatever reason, the ref didn't follow the rules and tank got an unapproved timeout. imo, this should be ruled a no contest and a rematch should be in order asap. p.s interesting side note, his hairstylist is on record stating it wasn't her fault. his hair was done days before the fight. lol.

The family of Mexican boxer Julio César Chávez Jr. says it has "full confidence in his innocence" after he was arrested by U.S. immigration officers and set to be deported to Mexico.

The WBA ranked Paul #14 after the fight, which Craig Parker, the #15 fighter, called "a slap in the face." Will Paul take the bait? Parker is 20-0 with 20 KOs.

Crawford is just incredible. One of the best fighters I’ve ever watched. If this was his last fight what a way to go out.

Also major props to Canelo for keeping it real in post fight interviews. No excuses, all the praise to Crawford.. never been a Canelo fan, not that I dislike him just never been drawn to him for any reason. But that really earned my respect.

                        Two legends.

                          Hey everyone,

I've just released my boxing management sim on Google Play and wanted to share it here.

Heavyweight Boxing Champion is a deep, text-based boxing career simulator where you create a fighter from scratch and work your way up through a living, breathing 500-fighter division. No flashy 3D graphics — just pure strategy, storytelling, and the grind of a real boxing career.

                          What makes it different:

                          • A full 500-fighter universe that evolves on its own — fighters age, decline, retire, and get replaced by new prospects. Champions rise and fall whether you're involved or not.

                          • 30+ years of simulated history before you even start. You enter a world with established champions, Hall of Famers, records, and rivalries already in place.

                          • Deep fight engine with round-by-round strategy. Choose your approach each round — work the jab, go to the body, load up power shots, fight on the inside. Knockdowns, cuts, corner stoppages, referee interventions — it's all there.

                          • 4 world titles plus 7 regional belts and the goal of becoming undisputed champion.

                          • Full career progression — prospect matchmaking protects you early, but as you climb the rankings the opposition gets real. Title challengers need to be top 15 and in form. No free rides.

                          • Detailed fight records for every fighter. Click any opponent's name to see their full career. Rivalries develop organically. Annual awards (Fighter of the Year, KO of the Year, etc.) with full writeups.

                          • Hall of Fame with legacy tiers — Standard, Strong, First Ballot, and Legendary. Only the best get in.

                          • Records tab tracking 29 categories — most title defences, longest win streak, highest KO%, biggest upsets, and more.

                          • Retire and continue — when your fighter hangs up the gloves, you can create a new fighter and enter the same universe. The division remembers everything.

The game runs entirely offline, saves locally, and the career can go on for hundreds of in-game years if you want.

Would love to hear what you think. Happy to answer any questions. If you enjoy old-school boxing management games or text sims in general, I think you'll get a lot out of this one.

                          Cheers!
