Are y'all playing on PC or consoles ? Trying to see if it is a PC bug or not.

I’m running on both, series x and PC. The cuts I’m seeing on PC, no extra gloves on PC as well. I think the gloves issue is on console as well. I’ll check the cuts issue on series x here in a few.

Edit:

I have the gloves bug on console as well. Only riyadh season gloves, black, blue, and red. No issues with cuts on console either (undisputed difficulty).

I absolutely love this game. Yes, it has issues, but it is still very playable and one of the best sports games this generation.

No attitude, just sarcasm because you said “how come you’re worried about more boxers rather than realistic movement” and implied I don’t care about realistic boxing when I never said anything about it at all. It reminds me of the Twitter meme where someone is talking about apples and someone starts yelling about how they don’t care about oranges .

My question about boxers was just because someone had mentioned there was a small roster and I remember them saying they had 150-200 boxers signed, so was only curious what happened about that since that’s a huge difference from what they have now. I also want realistic boxing, which is why I reading the reviews here since I trust you guys to give an accurate review, unlike the other reviews I’ve been seeing. Based on that, I’ll be waiting for fighters to be released AND more realistic boxing to be fixed.

I'm thinking they couldn't afford all those boxers licenses. I never believed that anyway. It's obvious there would be no way all those fighters would have different styles. Even the ones in the game now don't all have a different style, mostly copy and paste. I still have a limited amount of boxers to take up less space and more. Added to the realistic movements, fight night had lots of legends, and the movement wasn't realistic at all.*

The movement speed is weird as hell in this game. You can move fast as hell from side to side, but move like a snail going FORWARD. That snail speed going forward is what pisses me off the most in this game. You can have a guy rocked, he backs up fast as hell and you can't catch him because you go forward so damn slow in this game.

And don't get me started with the CPU rocked and they lean back and your arms turn to baby arms all of a sudden and you can't even reach their face. It is one of those wait what moments. Just like it is incredible hard to get them trapped against the ropes when they are hurt. And I forgot what name of the arena is, but one of those arenas the camera man constantly get in the way and you can't see and the CPU start tagging the hell out of you.

Game is fun but the hit detection in this game is way worse now than it was a year ago in early access.

Yes, haven’t noticed the slow movement while going forward but certainly notice it when in close to the CPU and trying to back away, it’s like you get stuck in mud sometimes, my wife and daughter asking what’s wrong from the other room, as I was finding myself yelling at the screen MOOOVE BACK MF’r lol. Sorry didn’t mean to start cussing!!!

They need a control scheme that sets punches to buttons only utilizes the right stick for slipping.

Am I making this up in my head? Years ago when news started coming out about "esbc boxing club" the roster was in the 250 fighter range. Now it's around 70 I think at launch. Did I make that 250 number up in my head or will we be getting dlc periodically like the ufc game?

It was a marketing decision.
Normally new IPs follow this path:
Announcement and teaser trailer followed by a few interviews>>>A long time ( a year or more) of relative silence>>>As you approach (early access) release, give gameplay updates/footage>>>Announce DLC as you are ready to sell it

Undisputed decided to go this route:
Announcement/teaser trailer>>>Frequent licensed fighter updates>>>a smaller period of time of silence>>>as they approached early access release, gameplay updates and videos came out.

I don't know if the decision to prematurely announce signed fighters was done in order to keep hype and lure more investors or if it was just a rookie mistake by a new company, but normally you don't announce fighters as they sign, you reveal them when you are ready to sell their DLC.

I am reminded of CFB25. They didn't do monthly "we agreed to terms with this school" videos and press releases. They announced the game and then quietly worked on it in silence.
Or if that UFC game announced two years before release "hey these are the fighters we will have DLC for"

i don't think that would work good cause the punches from angles cant be linked to buttons it works great how it is using analog button

I'm switching up between PC and Xbox Series X versions now. Depends on if my wife and daughter still awake lol. If they're awake, I hit the office and jump on the PC, once they're sleep I hit the Xbox version on the big screen! I'm very excited to see what the future brings for this. They have a ways to go, hell, UFC5 has been out for almost a year and they're still patching and adding fighters, I have high hopes for Undisputed. The foundation is there, let's see where they take it.

A few things that need to be addressed:

1. Career mode presentation/flare.
2. Lateral movement in the pocket (not sure why your boxer gets stuck in mud when close in to the opponent). Backing up is also a problem, its like I get stuck and can't get away, then the super spammers go ham on me lol.
3. Tone down that super spam hook, I would suggest knocking off some percentage of damage off of that, maybe 20 - 30 % off and spammers going to have problems.
4. Make the lean/sway mechanics a bit more smooth (that would take a completely new control scheme however, not sure they can change that at this point).

Regarding #2...sometimes your feet get tangled up (like they do IRL) so it's important to recognize when you feel "stuck" and quickly disengage out of the pocket in the opposite direction. It's somewhat realistic because most decent boxing coaches will tell you to never retreat in a straight line.

Okay I discovered the longer the rounds, the more damage your punches do. 12 and 15 round fights is the way to go for sure. Don't even have to make it deep into the rounds either, the difference is immediate right in the 1st round.

For the longest time I was playing as Ali vs Wilder 8 rounds. I could do very little damage with Ali and got KO'ed by Wilder every time. Switched to 12 rounds, Ali jabs was rocking Wilder in the 1st round. I was shocked and ended up KO'ng Wilder in the 3rd. Played with some more fighters with 12 rounds and it was consistent, more damage from punches were being done.

Stamina however still don't change however, the USER still depletes way faster than the CPU. Some things I noticed different from earlier in the year, cuts have been severely nerfed to the point they are like non existent now. Same thing with swollen faces and eyes. Don't know what they did, but they had them in the game earlier in the year.

Stamina is still my biggest gripe. If my AI CPU opponent and I throw around the same # of punches with the roughly the same # landing then our stamina should be relative but sometimes it's off by a good 5-8% which causes you to wear down earlier so you can't take advantage of fluid movement.

Will the ability to add fighters to console version be patched in? Can it? I bought this but really miss not having the greats like Hagler, Hearns, Pryor, Leonard etc. just to name a few....
