Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
I think CAFwhores love sitting making them. The live for it. I think they would get bored of the game if they can't make tons of CAFs.Comment

We'll see what a patch does.

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
I can live with most of it, the WWE slams, stiff anamations and such. But the thing I have the most trouble with is the fighters not fighting like themselves. I want to see wrestlers and BJJ guys trying to take me down, not everyone acting like strikers.
In the stream, no way would Maia have stood with Lawler. He would have tried everyway to get that fight to the ground. So far the only fight that resembled someone actually doing what they do was the Rousey fight. Clinching a good portion of the fight but no takedowns or throws. But at least it did end in an armbar.
I don't know...I was so hyped for this and now I might not even get itGametags

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
wow, the general feel of this thread is that the game is as arcade as the demo. Wont be buying it unless a patch comes and.fixes stamina and cpu ai aggression. It probably wont happen ..... a shame ....i had such high hopes for this game
EA ufc dev....3 working sliders can fix this:
strike output ( ai aggression)
stamina
chin

Re: EA UFC Retail Impressions Thread
MMAi
A mixed martial artist’s mind is as important as his heart. Every licensed fighter in the game will have changing goals and fight plans, based on their real-life tendencies and each fight situation. Stop their Plan A, and they will adapt to Plan B or C. Down on the scorecards, look for the AI to end the fight with a knockout or a submission. A smarter opponent equals a more challenging and unpredictable fights.
Is this not in the game then?Comment

As it appears now? NO... NO it is not. Not even close apparently. From what those who have it have said... Pretty much every fighter fights the same.
Maybe a day 1 patch to turn ON MMAi perhaps? Who knows.
Typical EA.
Maybe in 2 yrs when the next one comes out... MMAi will actually be a REAL feature and not just hype.
