I've gotten good with slipping punches from hard hitting guys and giving them body shots to the ribs and leg kicks. Then go for the head once they slow down. Thats how I beat Condit

My career's going nowhere so far.

Up to the 2nd(qf) fight in TUF, has taken me so many tries just to get this far.Only way i win is with a ko, lost every time in 2 rounds even when i was sure i had won at least one round. Wish we could skip this part once it is done as i don't think i wanna go thru it again with another character. Playing on normal.

just improved to 8-0-0 with my Welterweight boxer. I'm typically streaming it on twitch.tv/LSU389, got it on right now.

I'm like 22-0-0 and the champion on my normal-difficulty Lightweight. Started off Muay Thai, but you get so many points from winning fights once you get into the UFC that my submissions and ground game are both in the 80s too (stand up is 100). I'd guess I have about 15 KO/TKO wins, 6 submission wins, and 1 decision or so.

Took me until about 19-0-0 to finally get a title shot... seemed a little unbalanced, my first 14 or so fights were all on the undercard against the random CPU-generated fighters, and then when I got to the main card in my 15th or so fight, it only took 3-4 fights to get a title shot. Had about 4 title defenses so far, against Nurmagomedov twice, Cerrone once, and Joe Lauzon once.

Going to finish off this career and move up a difficulty for my next career. Probably a HW or LHW jiu-jitsu sub-based guy, but that'll probably be tough. Took me a while to get good with subs on normal, and I had like 75-80 in both subs on my LW before I could do it consistently. No idea how I'll get through TUF on a higher difficulty with a newly created guy.

I think you can purchase a move that'll let you go from submissive full mount to half guard (or something like that). Only way to escape the full mount/back taken without it is to click left stick to try and stand up from the full mount position.

I am not a career guy, but with that said, I am enjoying this mode a lot.

I decided to make everything random for my fighter. Meaning picking random attributes, gameplan, new moves.

This has made the game very challenging. I am weak in some areas and very strong in others. Therefore, I have to play to my strengths.

I have gotten my *** beat on the regular, but now I seem to have turned the corner. I hope I can string a few wins together.

Re: How's your UFC career going?

Well my first career is over. My damage meter has maxed out. Enjoyed this mode even with its shortcomings it is fun. When your meter fills you get the last fight video messages from everyone. I was lucky that i was able to win the title 2 fights ago and had an epic defense vs Fletcher. Now my last fight is against Myung-Suck Lee to retire as the champ.

I made a guy who wasnt tall or big in the welterweight division. It has been an up hill climb. I thought i picked jujitsu but i am a mixed martial artist base. I had skill caps that meant i needed to use legs and subs to compete. That has been the fun. 85% of my wins have been by kick or sub.

Just on normal but with what i have to work with not much margin for error. usually out reached, out physicaled and skilled overall, even in the TUF tournament. But i had things i could do and if i did them was more successful. This was the first mode i dived in and made some mistakes in growing my fighter and assigning moves and gameplans. Had a few guys who were better clones of my fighter and took me apart. But when i got to the point of competing had some great fights.

I have won the white belt title online so now im gonna compete in blue belt online mode before starting a bantamweight career with a boxer or Judo base.

I completed my first career on Easy with only 3 loses. Once I realized how I set up a gameplan things went a lot easier for me. I made it to the hall of fame S ince my first career was as a striker. I am ready to try on Normal as a wrestler submission specialist fighter. This should be interesting.

Re: How's your UFC career going?

In my first career, I went the Light Heavyweight route, as I generally do. I made myself 6'4" at 205 and a kickboxer. I'm playing on Easy, because I didn't have much luck on the demo so I figured that would be a good way to start. It took me 4 shots to get into the TUF house, but once I got past that, I cruised along fairly well. In the final match, I won by a decision, fortunately taking the first two rounds while he almost finished me in the 3rd.

Once I got my career going, I came out on fire with a 2nd round knockout, but turned that around by getting knocked out in just under two minutes my next fight. But, after that I've managed to pop off 6 in a row at this point. Three KO of the night performance bonuses, 4 KO's altogether, and then two decision victories.

I can tell that there's not a LOT to this mode, but I really do enjoy it. I think a middleweight is up next. We'll see how it goes! At this point, I've got 5 bars on my damage meter. Not too bad. Its not a bad first entry the more that I get into it. As I've leveled up my attributes, things that frustrated me before have subsided a bit. There's still the stamina issue, but its not AS bad as you level things up. I have had several pretty awesome close call moments that definitely show that they were on point with one good shot being able to rock you.

One thing I noticed is that once I upped my punching speed, I was able to hang in there better with the stand up. Something of note. Otherwise, it reminds me a lot of a shinier version of the EA MMA in how it feels when punches are thrown. Not a bad game and I'm enjoying it more with each play.

Game scheduled Penn as my next opponent, had me kind of worried. Until the game apparently has scripted events within career...game showed the "Submission Specalist" video. Didn't think too much of it until Penn went for nothing but takedowns in the fight. Made what I thought was going to be a challenging fight into a joke.

How do you know that Cormier was 100 overall ? is there a way to check other fighters stats and how many Win/ Lost.. ???

You can't check each individual statistic but when you accept a fight after finishing the previous one it displays your next opponent and each of his primary attributes(stand. Ground. Submission.) and the overall rating.

In the Career menus there's an option to view all rankings in each weight division which includes each fighters Win/Loss. (UFC WORLD > POWER RANKINGS)

As you get late into career, many RL fighters who haven't yet retired are over their default rating. The only two that weren't in my HW Career were Roy Nelson (90) and Big Nog (88).
It does kill a bit of the immersion to fight against someone who has no weakness and is a master of all trades. I Couldn't justify maxing out my 6'6" 265lb HW boxer with 100 subs, and 65 kick speed ect. But, you know, VIDEOGAMES!

EDIT: Has anyone who DIDN'T get Bruce and Royce finished the career on PRO yet? I want to know if I should spend time on PRO to attempt to unlock both or if Bruce can only be unlocked on HARD like some outside media is suggesting.
ALso, if anyone else is on this quest i suggest you make a submission fighter as the AI SUB defense is not very good one you recognize the 5 or 6 defensive patterns it uses. Just don't get caught in one or else its pretty much over regardless of circumstances.

So finally got to the UFC after winning the final fight in the TUF by unanimous decision. Guy was a kick boxer and he sure did use his feet. He rocked my body a bunch of times but couldn't get it done and I did the same to his head a few times bit also couldn't finish the fight. There really needs to be some sort of sprint button so you can get to someone and finish them while they are dazed. More updates to come!
