Re: How's your UFC career going?
so i finished my career at the age of 34 with a record of 36-5, with over 700,000 fans on normal diff. i was a bantamweight using my actual height and weight. i will be placed in the ufc hall of fame as a submission machine with 19 of my matches won by submission. my discipline was/is bjj(i practiced it for a year and a half in real life). i not only became the second person to land the twister in the ufc, but i won with it in 6 matches (suck it korean zombie!!!) my losses came at the hands of urijah faber 2 times, 2 generic guys shutting me down in the #1 contenders match and jose aldo by split decision(i got robbed lol and the match was in brazil go figure) once i won the title i never looked back making all challengers tap or snap. found out my weakness in the game is strikers primarily boxers getting rocked left and right. i went in to a groove with counter striking and combos was getting me through. i made a heavyweight muay thai fighter and im going to go through another career as my self but use my gameface this time.

Re: How's your UFC career going?
I'm something like 30-0 in my career, every fight has either been a first round ko/sub except for one, which was my first title fight. The CPU took it up a few levels in that one, and I had to go 4 or 5 rounds deep before I got the KO win. That was probably the most fun I had against the CPU, other than that I'm just rolling through the career, its kinda boring to be honest.Comment

Re: How's your UFC career going?
Finished my HW career on Pro 40-0. Didn't post about it because I ended up fighting Cain for the second time and destroying him and fought Big Nog and Bigfoot Silva about 8 times each. It was just boring. I wanted to take on DC, Mark Hunt, Hapa, Werdum and all those cats but they retired way too early.
Started a Jiu Jitsu Welterweight. Currently 20-0. I haven't faced a roster fighter yet bet there is still plenty of them in the power rankings. I noticed that some subs have more than on finishing animation. One where they tap and one where they don't. Still haven't seen a tap on the kimura yet...Comment

Re: How's your UFC career going?
i finished my first career 23-16. defended the title 3 times and made the Hall of Fame. I fought well enough to hang around losing a lot of decisions and being in most fights so i didnt lose much rank when i lost and i went on streaks so i would win 4 lose one win 5 lose 3 after a rough start.
I gave away some wins and started right away with the retail Tue morning before i knew the mechanics of assigning moves and gameplans completely. But when i choose i base i wanted to not be great at any one thing and grind it out and keep balanced all the way up. ended up champ with 3 title defenses and stopped training many of the training sets once i got on the main card. ended up 95-96 across the board.
Now i am a bantamweight boxer who must keep his ground and subs rating 10 points lower than his standup rating so i stay true to the real skill and style of a boxer based fighter.at like 61 or so STU and 48 GRN and SUbs on the step up from normal you have all you want. it could be to the point of frustration for some though. NO margin for error. None.
How "easy" it is directly depends on what you select as your base. Since online i am 10-5 with fighters i wanted none of whom were the best in their division(Light HW Cormier mostly and Bruce VS aldo a few times). And almost all my opponents knew how to block take downs and escape subs so no cheap wins. I know i can somewhat hold my own.
I know that if you choose one of the less stacked early paths it is not very easy. Try a Mixed Martial on normal or above or a boxer base on hard or normal and watch the challenge. Also keep the ratio of ratings meaning if you start better on the ground by 8 points always stay 8 points better on the ground as you rank up skills. Everyone has to get their fun out of their game their own way. For me Being a light heavyweight or heavyweight striker who could handle the ground to start would have been not enough challenge.
To the games credit, it makes you work for somethings. But as some have pointed out it feels more like what your guy struggles with instead of what the other AI fighter is doing. They dont maximize their strengths enough. They should do this at every level, that is fight to their strengths and who they are.
As a Boxer you start off 48 on the ground and subs. If you get taken down more often than not that's it. You know how to escape and block trans but a guy rated like that cant do it. And forget about escaping a sub like online guys do making circles with the stick. It doesnt work very well. you cant move your gates.Madden 17

Re: How's your UFC career going?
My wrestler is currently at 17-2. I'm on easy, but I was struggling a lot with the game at first. Currently, I am on the main card and the fights are getting a bit tougher. I've maxed out my left and right hand power and am starting to string together some KO's. I really still need to learn the submission system. Usually when I play these games I always try to start on one of the toughest levels, but now my philosophy is to start out easier and to work on mechanics and then move up. So, my next guy will be on normal. Not sure which style to start with??MLB the Show - Cubs

Re: How's your UFC career going?
I think I am getting old. I am still having issue with the submission mini-games at time. I finally managed to do it after multiple retries. It still the weakest part of my game. Its not getting the correct position but completing it.Comment

Re: How's your UFC career going?
I made my HW a mixed martial but I should have made him a kickboxer since that seems to fit the style that I have become the most comfortable with. I wanted to be good on the ground at first but as it turns out im still terrible on the ground and with subs. I guess having somewhat high ground rating does help me compensate for my lack of skill on the ground though when it comes to defense.Comment

Re: How's your UFC career going?
Kept losing to Jon Jones in the title match. Finally decided to try the muay thai clinch and land some devastating knees to the face. Weakened him and then went for the take down from the clinch.
Immediately went into full mount and started throwing punches to the face until it turned red. We got up and I immediately started attacking the head and landed a heel kick for the knockout win.
Was only a 76 overall at the time (he was 100). Defending my belt has proven to be really difficult now, since I got so lucky to win it haComment
