It does kind of feel like you are in school, but that is kind of the whole point. That way the best ideas and feedback can be sorted and analyzed. I'd much rather have a high school atmosphere than a pre-school one. Sure it can be fun, but as you seen it has major drawbacks. Guarantee when we do get new forums, they will be much like this. They learned a lesson. They would rather close the forums than to let the little kids run amok.
You make some valid points but I still feel like avatar thing is a crime. Feels like the micro transactions in games to give you stuff you should get for free. Plus I find this forum very confusing.

If i'm honest I think the game will suffer more from being on this forum than on the EA forums because even though there were a few peanuts there was a wide variety of feedback. Now you are gonna have only a few people contributing to changes which I don't see being a good thing.

If your school books looked anything like your avatars I can understand why.

Couldnt disagree more. The devs have even said that in the old forums it was difficult to find feedback. You had to navigate through all the posts where someone was trolling. You also had to navigate the threads where someone had one bad fight and said "(Feature X) is broken!!!!". You also had to navigate through the EA Sucks posts.

The people who provided legitimate, constructive feedback were few on the forums and ALL of them have come over to OS.

This place has a 'Go to first unread post' option for threads, so I'm sold.

              ...
Unless the EA forums had that too and I'm just an idiot.

Does anyone have a link to a more active forum? It would be nice to see new topics daily instead of just a few replies to the same ones...

That is the funny thing about being constructive. You see a lot less people who can be. It really isn't that hard. People just have to post differently than they are used to. That was one of the things about the other forums. Sure, there was more activity, but a lot of it (most) wasn't constructive criticism. So you had a lot of people jumping in threads telling them to get good. Or just disagreeing with them, and telling them to practice. I did this too. Was just a natural effect from seeing those types of posts all the time. They got irritating to almost all of us.

The forums for the game are slowing down anyways. Look at Reddit, or Facebook. Anywhere where people usually post about the game. It dies off after a couple months. This is not unusual. The EA forums were even slowing down with regular posts.

Hello.. used to be on Undisputed, EA MMA and EA UFC forums! Mainly lurking though. Now I registered here.

                      What's up everyone!

Probably need a bit of time to get used to this, the old forums had much more sections. They coming back?

The EA forums were a bit of a kids table IMO. The forums moved at a frantic pace and there were so many duplicated threads asking the same stuff or moaning about the same stuff.

I'm well on board for a slower paced discussion with less moaning and 'X is broken' all the time.

You can get both once you've posted a little more. Its a part of OS's security system to defend against bots and spam.

A feature the new forums for EA will have to have as well. Unless it is a linked account.
