If the money goes to maintaining website or its some kind of contribution to the dudes running it I have zero problems with it. Is it yearly fee?

Then can I barrow $20 since it's no big deal Dave?

That is just crazy, $20 is not the issue because its not that much but for a avatar and a strict avatar that they can still ban you for is a no no for me...

LOL! Nah, I'll pass. To hell with these forums. Been nice talking to all the guys over at EA. I'm out.

I'm sure in a few weeks I won't really post to much, just a lil to boring for me here.
I love it. It filters out the trolls. It filters out the people who just want to bash the game or EA or the devs or a fellow user and have no intention of trying to give advice on how to improve the game.

Some people want more disorganization and found the trolling funny and I understand that. I dont find that fun but I get that some do.

If an avatar of a big *** or jiggling tits is that important, there are two Reddit forums that are dedicated to EA UFC and I'm sure they are less strict.

One time fee and it goes to the guys running and maintaining the site. Given that most people have ad blockers, they need more than ad revenue to maintain these forums. There are over 700,000 registered members so running this site isnt cheap.

Considering that I have no problem paying the $20. Just I have to watch my sense of humor so I figure I'll post a while before paying to make sure my jokes don't get me banned.

Dont worry about that. They dont ban people here for jokes unless you are trying to personally attack someone.

My jokes are never personal here, just lots of times funny comments pop in my mind that aren't malicious at all, but can contain questionable language. I just need to be mindful and proof read.

Yeah dont worry about that. I've been here for over a decade and dont remember anyone getting banned for language.

                              I agree, it's a scandal.

Are you on PSN or XB1, Bigg Cee?

It really is better than what we had. It has almost all the features I wished for on the EA forums. The ability to block people. Subscribing to a thread. Being able to like posts (this will save on my post count ). Embedding the right way. Your own personal arena where you can do those huge posts guys like Solid and Zombie like to do.

Pretty sure this is a phpBB forum. Which means there is a lot of room for customization and much better mod tools. They can likely merge threads too. No clue why they don't do that more often if they can.

Why close a thread instead of putting it in one exactly like that one. Sure, the convo might get messed up at first, but it will revert to the same discussion. Many sites merge threads. It is actually nicer to do that than to close a thread that does have feedback. Some are best closed, but why not hide those? Message the OP and tell him why. There are enough mods to do that. People generally respond better when you close and message them why, and point them in the right direction. They do this on the CS:GO forums from what I've seen.

You can have strict forums, and still be nice. That is actually they best method for a strict forum. You don't want to embarrass new members. That leaves a lasting impression. I know I always sent someone a message when I closed a thread. All depended on the person as well. Some you have told, and they just won't conform. So you just bypass the niceness and close. Then close the thread they made to ask why their thread was closed. I would generally still explain why in my closing post. Still would get the thread asking why though.

These iare great boards, but there is always room for improvement.
