Re: For new users from the EA Forums
Deal!Big Cee likes to send me invites very frequently on ufc2, if he promises to limit to the fight invites to a reasonable number I'll unblock him and donate a dollar to his avatar fund. (As long as he pinky swears to keep it 100 safe for work so the military dudes that visit these sites don't get LORs, lol)
If you hook me up I'll leave you alone and never ever bother you again or ask you to play UFC 2.
Plzzzzzzzz

Re: For new users from the EA Forums
I miss the old forums. I find the new layout disorganized. Is there a way to view the last 5 posts on the forum without opening each category?
I also miss Bigg Cee's avatars. That logo they making him use is a crime against humanity.Last edited by Gelcom8; 04-24-2016, 05:20 PM.Comment

Re: For new users from the EA Forums
Preach. I only wanted to write preach but it told me my reply of preach was to short. WTF?For me it's plain and simple... Bigger is not always better, I loved the small feel of the forums and that everyone knew everyone pretty much and just the fun vibe it had.
To me these forums make you feel like you get lost and it just feels to big for me and just comming here for UFC only. I'm just not feelin this whole place.
To each of there own. I will still post and hang around but I won't be on here like the ea forums. The ea forums were small but to me it felt like a community and the fact it was not so strict in there whole approach was just a winner for me.
And yes I know the trolls were out of control but it never ever bothered me.
1 person issue ruined the forums for everyone and that's the truth!!!Comment

Re: For new users from the EA Forums
Thank you for the welcome Millennium, I joined the EA forum and only a few days in I decided to leave. I'm already enjoying this place.

Re: For new users from the EA Forums
I agree. I wasn't going to leave ea but having the forums automatically take you here forced my hand
I like it better here, no drama, and everyone seems friendly for the most partComment

I like it better here for the same reason, so far everyone I've come across has been pleasant.Comment

Re: For new users from the EA Forums
Sox pointed out the threads answering your question.
You can also navigate to the bottom of the forums in "Steve's Forum" (he's the owner of OS) and see other answers to your questions (or ask a ? there you don't see answered yet).

It's hard though...especially when I got my neighbor playing their franchise across the street...maybe I will occupy myself with Glamore Magazine.Comment

Re: For new users from the EA Forums
Best thing to do is to check the threads that interest you, then go to "Forum Tools"

and click "Mark This Forum Read". That will make all the threads look like they have been read. Any new posts will have the thread name highlighted. You can also use the thread tools

and get email notifications. You can even set the frequency of the emails. These forums really are better, and have a lot more functionality. I had hoped for a lot of these features for the EA forums.@bikingforjesus on InstagramComment

Re: For new users from the EA Forums
Thanks Fish. I totally understand why you came here and appreciate your help. I always thought you were a boss as you were easily the most friendly helpful person when I first joined back in the day. The EA forums were not perfect but they felt interesting and organic. These forums have more features but they feel very bland and restrictive. I feel like I'm back at high school with teachers watching me and waiting to give me detention. The advertising is annoying and it's a crime that they charge money for an avatar.Best thing to do is to check the threads that interest you, then go to "Forum Tools"

Re: For new users from the EA Forums
The advertising does suck. The avatars is just a preference thing. They have plenty of sports ones. Sites take money to maintain. So it doesn't bother me. I gave my support because of what they did taking us in. Sure, they were on the receiving end as well, but it also made them have more work. Thanks Fish. It does kind of feel like you are in school, but that is kind of the whole point. That way the best ideas and feedback can be sorted and analyzed. I'd much rather have a high school atmosphere than a pre-school one.
Sure it can be fun, but as you seen it has major drawbacks. Guarantee when we do get new forums, they will be much like this. They learned a lesson. They would rather close the forums than to let the little kids run amok.
