I thought GPD said if you're low on stamina you deal way less damage? Maybe damage from counters are OP or broken in the sense they don't account for stamina levels? That would be a gamebreaking issue if so...

This hasn't been the case at all lately, esp with combos. Hopefully this is not what they wanted and will be fixed.

That literally happens ALLL the time in MMA. How many times have we seen someone rocked and tired falling back against the cage and the guy trying to finish comes in swinging and gets caught, sometimes not even a hard punch and get his lights put out?

It actually doesn't happen all the time. There's like maybe 3 examples of that happening ever.

And no. Im complaining about that guy being totally gassed out for about 20 seconds straight, eating huge flush shots and combos, getting rocked back to back to back like 5-6 times in a row, and taking no damage.

Then while still completely gassed, after being assaulted for 20 seconds, eating massive, clean, unblocked shots, gassed out, concussed, somehow landed a miracle KO?

It looks like the jab straight combo spamming only actually works in UT when you're playing a striker vs a grappler.

Having actually played more that one quick fight I find avoiding 1-2 spams isn't anywhere near as difficult as UT. It would appear the stat difference between grapplers and strikers is quite vast at the start of UT and results in a crap block and poor movement. I was using Kevin Lee card I packed and thought it was his stats in the normal game, they definitely are not.

And now creator of this thread edited his post and admitted that it was not a gameplay fault. And this is what I'm thinking - the gameplay is very good and gives possibility to react on each situation but I think that new players must see how these things work. Gameplay is great but need some time to fully understand so maybe you (game creators) should put some video clips embedded in final release which show propper technics etc. Some strategy in many situation etc.

Pete Sell vs Scott Smith

These are all fights that ended similarity. Guys over confident, going for finish and gets caught, KOED. I can remember it happening more just not the names.

Also to be honest that guy was wasting energy throwing body kicks and letting his opponents block and head regain health. He also was not moving his head at all coming straight forward winging punches. He was literally asking to get knocked out.

How do you activate this finish the fight mechanic when your opponent is knocked down? Also I have no idea why but if my life depended on it i couldnt throw a body uppercut. Every time a body kick comes out. I don't get it..

1. Punch them when they fall. If they are ready to be finished, you will follow them.

2. LT+X/A or Y/B Don't hold LB. LB is for hooks.

I must not be pressing both buttons together. Does it matter if.youre moving LS forward or stationary? I'll keep practicing but I seem to struggle with the double button press

No its not, Its gonna be a wrestlefest. Ground game is the most broken thing I have seen in a game. Strike spammers get ko'ed easily, grapple spam is just the worst

You beat me to it lol thats the first fight I thought about lol. This happens all the time in MMA. Especially in like amateur fights because fighters don't know how to finish a fight under control instead of wildin out with flurries 🤦🏽*♂️.

I definitely prefer the UFC 2 sways/head movement after my first day of playing. I'm hoping I'll grow into it.
