Re: EA UFC 3: Low Lying Fruit for Patches
- Career Mode I have not seen it, I'm hoping that EA UFC 3 changed up how we couldn't look at our Fight History, or our opponents Fight history to look at all of the past opponents, win methods and what round. EA MMA & FNC had this.
FNC'S fight history was so detailed we could look at every opponent we fought, every fight total and just scorecards for each fight we had in career.
It wasn't game breaking but it did bother me a little to not be able to see how many times I had to fight people like Robbie Lawler, Jake Ellenberger etc etc, to defend my title.
I'm hoping this is more detailed.
- Quick Fights I wish it had some fighter net details as well, but it might have something along these lines with the new rival tracker added into the game. Offline outside of career mode I also wish had a fighter net type tracking of stats. UFC Undisputed tracked stats in player matches, ranked, and all offline fighting modes.
It was nice to look at that especially to see what modes I played the most of or see how many wins and losses I have overall from all modes plus other stats.Comment

Re: EA UFC 3: Low Lying Fruit for Patches
You know one small thing I'd really like to see, and am hoping was already in talks with devs, was the possibility to throw more than just straights in a tko scenario. Be it elbows, hammerfists, hooks, uppercuts or knees to the body depending on the positions. The possibility to instantly transition to lock in a advantage position would be great too.
Not sure it would require new mocaps, but tweaks of already implemented ones for sure.Comment

Re: EA UFC 3: Low Lying Fruit for Patches
Difficult to say what "easy-fixes" are needed b/c we dont know the results of our Beta feedbacks (what was and will be foxed, except some like MM stamina thread).
Here is my list, b/c most of my bug and mechanics reports ARE LOW LAYING FRUIT (usually i described how concretely to fix every one):
Fixing Dead Zone huge size on RS Sways or give us an option slider to tune it by ourselves at least is one of the easiest:

Just release the game already lol.
Are there cut stoppages in the game? If not, would be interesting to add this maybe.Comment

Re: EA UFC 3: Low Lying Fruit for Patches
The fluidity of the takedowns needs to be increased somehow. Being able to combo into them would be ideal but just being able to get them out and feel somewhat responsive would be nice.
If I remember in the beta you couldn't go from a feint straight into head movement without a weird pause. Not sure if this was intentional but it would open up for some sick looking striking and more depth if you could go from a feint to a slip to a counter strike in one fluid sequence.Comment

This all day. There are no hard combo TD setups. GPD said it was a time issue, so hopefully that means they may come in a future patch. The fluidity of the takedowns needs to be increased somehow. With that said, TD responsiveness is a huge issue I noticed in the beta too, as you said, you needed to do a weird pause before you shot or 99% of the time, the shot wouldn't register.Comment

This would be cool to see, atleast more fluid looking strikes, but being able to transition from a "finish the fight" would be really cool. You know one small thing I'd really like to see, and am hoping was already in talks with devs, was the possibility to throw more than just straights in a tko scenario. I'd also like to see the AI finish you from these positions, it didn't in the beta, it would let you recover.
I also wish you could knee from back side control at all times, instead of only in a TKO scenario (dunno if you could still do it in 3 but you can in 2)Comment

I don't remember being able to knee in back side control in UFC 2, actually I'm pretty sure your couldnt. Am I wrong? This would be cool to see, atleast more fluid looking strikes, but being able to transition from a "finish the fight" would be really cool.

Off topic but was it possible to fake takedowns in he beta
? Never succeeded once.Comment

Re: EA UFC 3: Low Lying Fruit for Patches
You could from the finish the fight back side position. Like, if knocked someone out from back side, you could then throw knees to their unconscious body, or if you dropped someone and that's the FTF position you got, you could knee them, but you couldn't get the stoppage from it.
No idea about takedowns fakes, never tried.**** off, Nugget7211 - GPD, 2017 & 2018

I would like to see video of that. I’m pretty sure that wasn’t possible. I could be wrong though.
