So is Rampage. I really don't understand the pick-and-choose reasoning behind who gets left in when retired/inactive/in other organizations vs. who doesn't.

Any one of those excuses has an example of someone breaking that rule by still being in.

At the time when EA announced the game and put him in the trailer, Rampage had an active UFC contract in place from the Maldonado fight. In mid November, the UFC let him out of that contract and he signed with Bellator.

I believe EA decided that it was too late to remove him from hard copies of the game and realized the risk was rather low to keep him in the game. They did the same thing with Ben Henderson in UFC 2.

A counter example is Mir was in the game when I played it in August. I did stats for Mir also. When he signed with Bellator in September, they had enough time remove him so they did.

Calvin Kattar should be added. He’s moving up the rankings pretty quickly, won’t be long till he’s ranked/fighting top 10.

Agreed but the list is so big I really doubt more than 25% of the fighters in the missing list will make it as DLC.

The list of missing fighters or notable fighters? The game is missing 200 plus fighters. There are maybe 35 notable fighters among those. Worse case scenario we get a little over half.

The game is missing 460 fighters (roughly, the UFC.com roster is terrible), there's about 35 of those 460 that I think need added. That's not too bad really.

I'm talking about the OP's list, 110 fighters already made the list, but in my humble opinion only 30-35 of the fighters in that list are worthy of being DLC.

18-20 isn't bad for a worse case scenario to be honest, that atleast covers notable absentees and folk whose popularity skyrockets after a big win a-la Darren Till.

Is it known wether fighters can be moved between weight classes in fighter updates or if it needs a patch? It'd be nice to see Lombard in MW.

I posted this in another thread but it's relevant here as well.

I know we've pretty much established this roster has been underwhelming, but I wanted to put into perspective how out of date it is. Of all fights scheduled from now until April, there is a total of 72 fights. You can only play 13 of them given the game's roster. So you can only do 18% of all UFC fights taking place over a 2 month period. Wow. In comparison EA 2 had 26 of 85 fights after release in a similar time frame. Nearly 32% and almost twice what 3 does.
