Re: EA UFC 3: Teach Me How To Thread: Tips, Strategies, Tutorials
Yes thanks man it seems to be one of those. I also figured out that you are able to do different kind of slip with R1 + right stick. It's much easier to counter with this slipping technique.Comment

I think that’s the point. If it dropped faster it would be too easy to spam strikes resulting in the fight being over every time a fighters rocked.

Blocking Knees in the clinch is the same as body block. RT+L2 on Ps4. I've still has issues where I block the knee and my player reacts like I got hit, but I clearly blocked it.Comment

It only takes like 2 knees to break your block, is it possible that's your issue?**** off, Nugget7211 - GPD, 2017 & 2018

Hook to the same side that you are moving your head, as power is generated coming BACK to the centre line after slipping.
e.g. Slip to the right, as your head is moving left, back to the centre, throw the right hook, which also moves in the left direction.Comment

Re: EA UFC 3: Teach Me How To Thread: Tips, Strategies, Tutorials
So the hardest and aggravating part for my fighter in career mode, is when you first get ranked in top 20 and fight your first top ten fighter, I am getting flat out destroyed in hard difficulty. For those that are having success, how are you doing it? Any helpful tips please?Comment

Then mix in uppercuts off the same side lean.
Get em thinking about those lean in body shots, then hit em with the lean uppercut.PSN: Lord__Hazanko

Re: EA UFC 3: Teach Me How To Thread: Tips, Strategies, Tutorials
I keep hearing about submission reversals but cant find nothing . I am aware of the guillotine and the kneebar reversals but are there more this game?
2. Listed in the contols in stand up/ grapple defense it says reversals and submission counters are L1+RS. What does this mean as i know sub counters are L2+R2+rs down ??
Appreciate the help !! ThanksComment

Re: EA UFC 3: Teach Me How To Thread: Tips, Strategies, Tutorials
Against the AI I had little success finishing them until I found out about the elbows. :o But on the defensive it's very hard to survive as my fighter is unable to block after taking a few shots (where the AI can take 10's of shots without dropping their hands). Anyhow: it's hard to train for defense in the sparring mode and those arm-traps are hard to trigger.Comment
