Same here but don't count on that with the "competitive" players like Kenetic pounding their fists on desks because they're not as competitive anymore.

It's absolutely killing the game. This is the closest we've been to an accurate simulating damage system that feels right. Now we're taking it away rather than addressing the stamina that would put it over the top.

U know what I would love to see? Combo strikes speed based on the fighter speed like it was in all fighting sports game ... I think this would change dramatically the meta and the pace... skill would always overcome cheese

The only problem I see there is then fighter selection would be even more limited. As if people don't already pick Dos Santos and Whittaker enough already.

In my opinion, the new damage system is a little too slow and could be increased slightly just because there’s an accelerated clock. However, I would not want this slightly increased rate of head health regen with the current stamina system, which is far too forgiving and allow people to absolutely lay it on to you. If the stamina system was changed, the new head health regen rate could be increased only slightly and it would be great.

But for now, fixing the bug is the best option.

The only problem I see there is then fighter selection would be even more limited. As if people don't already pick Dos Santos and Whittaker enough already.

But you could use your skills to overcome... time your attacks effective headmovement... right now if the guy throw a combo mashing the buttons like a MK brutality... u just have 4 options... sway the first and block, block all of them and pray for a non block break, sway the last and counter(the faster strike of all) and “run” literally combo is the safest defense of the game kkk

No there's several ways I'd over come that. It's as simple as timing counters and creating space.

Creating space is way more difficult than it should be with these magnet punches.

I don't have one currently - I've had several high level players try to pressure me. The back dash works wonders. I also try to counter them and disincentivize them from moving forward at all.

It wouldn't matter as much as it seems. The differences would have to be pretty big to actually allow differentc ounters to be used successfully against the same combo in different speeds.

Actually, this most recent patch I’ve been the most dominant. Currently undefeated on Xbox.

I’ve actually been trying to show devs how exploitable the new recovery system was.. I wasn’t getting beat up and complaining, I was actually benefited by the changes and saying it was broken.

Believe it or not, I genuinely want the game to get better and don’t want it catered to any specific style. Many of the exploits that have been in the game were ones I first reported.

Not hating just saying how unfortunate it is that certain players have such pull in this community. Zombie is about the only one I agree with. I apologize for dragging you through the mud a bit - Monkey is about the only person I can't stand.

Something to know though, not any one individual has a ton of pull or more pull than anyone else. With the gamechangers, all the changes we each suggest has to be approved / critiqued by everyone else.

I can’t just say “Hey GPD do____”. I mean, I could but he would need valid reasons why and also agreement from the other GCers.

I have to admit when I matched up with NRG earlier this season I assumed his record came from exploits. I was wrong! He uses movement, timing and combos better than anyone i have played. This patch plays right into his style and likely makes him more deadly than ever. He was never a sway spammer, he won off skill and that matters more now than ever before.
