Penalize players in the decision who run and reward those who constantly pressure effectively(thompson vs till) let it show in control time. Cage control is more than grappling

Cage control is one of the last determining factors in judging a fight if effective striking and grappling are equal, as well as aggression. Holding a person down is more significant than backing someone up, especially considering that there are many fighters who prefer to back up.

Big up aholbert and martial for carrying the realistic and outside fighting torch. Lets wait and see but hopefully we have something, just the magnetic strikes need to be tuned or removed now as it literally doesnt make sense, it has been explained via gpd to me and it doesnt maoe sense.

That wasn’t a half circle simple movement. Conor circled and ran. And you can circle and back dash. It isn’t a great idea but you can do it to create space against someone who isn’t pressuring.

Now if you want the exact animation that Conor did, you can’t do that. I also don’t think many people would want that because it could be exploited.

make the cage stickier. it would also force more grappling instead of the same old kickboxing match. done correctly this simple tool could allow ANGLES for the inside and outside fighter. grapplers need it for keeping a safe distance. this movement was overlooked and is the exact reason outside fighting is not possible outside fighters have waited very patiently this is the tool we need not the long guard which just moves you straight back which is how you get pressured against the cage. The animation will remain useless because your forced to move straight back

I don’t think what you bolded is false. Martial and I are the most vocal on the team when it comes to wanting outside fighting to be more viable. I can guarantee we are the most vocal when it comes to realism.

That doesn’t mean that others on the team don’t care about realism at all. They all do to different degrees but it’s true that Martial and I have been the most vocal about those aspects of the game among game changers.
