Re: Patch spoilers discussion
It would be great if someone pushing you in the clinch increased GA only for the hip toss, but no; every stat has to be all encompassing...

Pretty keen to see how it feels post patch, I'm pretty damn keen to actually be able to incorporate dirty boxing into my game.Comment

Re: Patch spoilers discussion
Fighting at 155 atm and saying 145 would be a hard cut.... Just cant see the UFC adding 155 for her no matter how good she is, look at Cyborg n 145 :/
If she keeps at it though, she will be crazy good. Her vs Cyborg a big fight for the futureComment

1. I didn’t realize that disagreeing with you was reason for leaving the thread or the site. Please inform me of the rule that i am breaking and I will gladly stop.
2. Please show me where you proved me wrong I clearly missed that it where I got salty....spicy maybe but not salty
2. Me vs you on what the most dominant position is. You said crucifix and used askren as your basis and i showed that his most dominant position is mount.Comment

My universe atm was purely based off event mode where I had 2 sort of divisions going on.
One was the lower division where the C rated fighters would scrap and it was more about blood and glory. The more entertaining guys would get more fights etc.
The other was the upper division open to everyone and now I'm going with only 1 champion for the whole organisation.
If someone is KO'd brutally they sit out 2 or 3 events, if TKO'd then 2 events.
Haven't put aside time for spreadsheet but going to pen and paper after this new update.
I usually give fighters stars next to their names as I write down the matchups and remove or add stars depending on their performance or entertainment value.
I also put a number out of 5 next to the fight depending on how good it was as a scrap.
Some dudes eventually get more stars than others and it gets quite interesting.
For example, Diego Sanchez is actually one of the top guys and has fought and been champion before. Similarly Manuwa is on the rise. So these guys have a lot of stars to their names etc.
I also have a few journeymen whose job it is to pull decisions against up and comers and test them without getting KO'd or destroying the new star. The judo australian guy is my chief gatekeeper / journeyman.Comment

Re: Patch spoilers discussion
On the Judo point. I will walk it back a bit. Many of the techniques are effective. I do stand by Ronda being a better athlete and ahead of the curve from a training stand point as her best weapon. Regarding McMann I really thought that was the one that was going to beat her. However, I think not just that fight but McManns career has been her not living up to potential.
Not familiar with the 155er with judo will definitely check it out.
Regarding momentum in the clinch. I think certain moves should have momentum based qualities. To say moving forward in the clinch leads to throws is an oversimplification.Comment

Re: Patch spoilers discussion
Actually, I think he'd be better in game than in real life. In game, actual technique doesn't really translate well. He should undoubtedly have great grappling in-game, so at worst, he'd be a great grappler character. However, when it comes to stand-up, the power that Brock should be given should be enough to make him a force to be reckoned with when standing. This is because technique doesn't translate as well in-game. In real life, Brock has poor stand-up technique, but in-game, the most that can be done is to give him a poor footwork/headmovement rating. His power should undoubtedly be quite high, and his speed shouldn't be bad either. His moveset when it comes to the stand-up may be quite limited, and his footwork/headmovement may be poor, but he should still be able to do a lot of damage.Comment

2. Well I dismantled your argument, which was crucifix being the most dominant position, and showed that to be wrong. Anyways start a new thread easy.Comment
