Really??? Color me shocked. So according to their data what are people playing most? And since their player base is mostly offline wouldn’t it make sense for them to invest time in a deep and updated roster?

I dont know honestly how many game developers expect the user to play the game for longer than a year.

At this point, given the direction they're clearly taken, I'd rather they just pump out a yearly release.

I dont need to wait two years to get the stuff they worked on because at some point the new game being new is the selling point. Why pretend all this other stuff really matters? Some people JUST WANT TO BUY THE NEW GAME.

Madden gets accused of being just a roster update every year. If EA runs out of goofy stuff to add, maybe we eventually get to just a roster update. I'd honestly be somewhat ok with that [emoji2369].

Only issue I have with Nogueira is that he has a 1 star guillotine after winning the UFC interim belt with one

Most people play career mode and quick match...so no a deep/updated roster doesnt matter to them as long as they have 95% of the top fighters.

Which is why I think a universe type mode could be good all around. Just another mode for the offline players to play, familiarize them with these lesser known fighters, please the hardcores, and help these fighters in real life get some recognition. At least that’s how I see it, but evidently EA sees it differently. I don’t have their data though, but I’d be very interested to see it and see how they interpret it. Have a feeling I wouldn’t see a lot of it the same way.

A universe mode would be useless right now with the roster where it’s at. Unless EA allowed it to be populated with random CAF’s to fill out divisions. Right now the roster has 7 active flyweights, so essentially your going to be having a lot of the same guys fighting the same people of a universe mode was implemented

Well, this roster just got even more outdated even before release. Cory Anderson signed with bellator this morning.

Yh same in UFC 3. His guillotine should be at least a lvl 2 or 2 star. Btw, plz tell me he has the kimura from guard and half guard on bottom? No way prime Big Nog shouldn't have those.

For some reason he has a gogoplata from mount? And they took the darce away from bottom side. I would take the gogo away and give him the darce back

Gogoplata? Thats odd. Yh i'd do the same...remove it and give him the darce. How would you rate his move set out of 5 stars? Are most things on point? And what star lvl is his triangle?

100% you’d need a much more expansive roster to have a good universe mode. Which is one of the reasons I think they haven’t done it yet, it would show just how shallow the roster really is.

At this Point I Just dissolve flyweight in my universe and add the guys to BW

Same. It actually then makes all the weight classes feel a little deeper. I end having 35ers move up to 45, 45 to 55 and so and so forth.

Not a bad strategy. Weight classes probably feel more like undisputed 3. What do you do with the flyweights though I’d your bumping up 35ers?
