Re: Official Closed Beta Announcement
It's similar to this position
Hall was able to TKO Andrews even tho Andrews was controlling the shoulders for a bit. Sub could generate more power from standing double under. Not saying it should be easy but I think it's possible to do.Comment

Re: Official Closed Beta Announcement
If someone has two underhooks on you I can't think of any scenario where you'd be able to generate enough force to KO them. Especially because they'd generally be up close and controlling your upper body.
Double unders would specifically be about controlling your opponent.Comment

Re: Official Closed Beta Announcement
That is nothing like D/U sub. Hall was able to keep his feet on Andrews hips to control him and create space. Not to mention Andrews didn't have any kind of underhooks to control Hall's upper body.

They should add rocks to the throws tho. Add the arm wrench too. So it's not exactly too safe.
That should be enough imo.Comment

Re: Official Closed Beta Announcement
Add an input for o/u. O/u should have strikes again- shoulder strikes that can rock and stomps. Also add a transition to single under and d/u.Comment

Re: Official Closed Beta Announcement
Right now, the only option is to escape the clinch from this position.
These submissive clinch positions need options to transition to better clinch positions, not just escaping.
Seems odd that you don't want them to have fun with the new clinch (which is very fun) to the maximum extent possible. Instead, you force them to escape the clinch from these submissive clinch positions.
Basically, I'm saying you've done great work with the clinch and casuals will want more options from submissive clinch positions to stay in the clinch.
Its a fun, fast and fluid clinch so they don't always want to escape.Comment

You should also be able to go for trips, throws, and TDs from sub single collar.Comment

Re: Official Closed Beta Announcement
I really hope they work on finish the fight sequence , the clinch game and give us an option to revert if possible to the UFC3 submission system..
[b]And transition counter windows should be bigger....[\b]

Re: Official Closed Beta Announcement
Clinch locomotion is way more better than before, but transition is much worse than before. 2 steps forward, 3 steps backward.Last edited by tissues250; 07-15-2020, 12:48 PM.Comment

Re: Official Closed Beta Announcement
No they should not be bigger smh there needs to be a skill gap on the ground if you're having a problem with denials that's on you or the display you're using. Do not want a casual denial/reversal fest on this game please.

Re: Official Closed Beta Announcement
How about the transition system in the clinch? as right stick circling like UD3. I believe it used to be in EA UFC1.Comment

Re: Official Closed Beta Announcement
Bro the sub system is not casual friendly. Like tomi said we already go through panic, not saying we dont have to simulate it but it should be for both sides. Either remove the bar getting bigger with erratic movement or make the offensive sub bar get smaller for the same erratic movement too.Antonio Rodrigo "Minotauro" Nogueira - UFC Hall of FameComment

Re: Official Closed Beta Announcement
It's not even hardcore friendly atm. I was facing lvl 7 and lvl 11 players and their bars were frantic. It's not intuitive because the instinct is to go fast and get away, they steered against that and made it hard for the defender. The limb subs was okay and people weren't complaining about that.Comment

Re: Official Closed Beta Announcement
I think they should've used simple subs. It would be been better with the inputs for slam, counter or strike.
That is the most casual friendly.Comment
