How do you stuff consistently? Rua always takes me down then I have to scramble for about 2 minutes before I can even get back on my feet.

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
Stuffing takedowns, you just have to hold RS towards them. I try to time it rather than just holding it constantly (similar to transition blocking, it seems more effective if you don't just lay on it), but as soon as you see him dipping down, hold RS towards him. When you get into the battle for a takedown, rotate the stick like mad (or push buttons) and that will break it most of the time unless you're really tired.Send your Midnight Release weirdo pics/videos to my new website: http://www.peopleofmidnightreleases.com!Comment

Also, if he shoots you and you time a RS down flick Chuck we'll immediately sprawl him and there wont be any struggle.Comment

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
I've been playing on advanced a lot now and I am working the ground game well. I even have been targeting Chucks body a lot lately, and in the middle of the 3rd round it seems that almost every time I connect a kick to his mid section he gets stunned!
I just can't for the life of me submit the guy! I've followed the tips, but whether he's dazed or tired the SOB just won't tap and he'll just reverse it!
I'm just hoping a lot of other fighters are easier to submit or a lot better doing the submitting.
This game is the most addicting, well done thing I have ever encountered!I post the frog

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
For those of you struggling to submit someone: Turn on the stamina bar (I know its arcadey, but it is a good learning tool). Watch it closely during the fight. Notice what moves take away the most stamina, and take note of the visual clues that the fighter gives when he is low on stamina. Go for submissions when the fighter is almost out of stamina. After a few fights, you should be able to turn the bar off and realize when the opponent is submittable.Comment

Are you flicking the stick one time in the direction you want to go? I was double tapping it because I didn't know any better and started single tapping and it works every time.Comment

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
Yeah I'm flicking it once. It doesn't happen work all the time. I even went into the tutorial and tried to practice it over and over. It might be my controller. It's taken quite a beating the past few years. I could try my new controller but I don't like using it in games where I need to button mash or spin the joystick fast.Comment

If you get his stamina low and you've got the advantage on the ground, you can tell his stamina is low cuz you can hear him grunt/breath heavy with each punch.Comment

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
Quick question regarding takedown defense, ive been holding the stick back when shogun shoots in. Sometimes it defends sometimes he takes me down..am i supposed to be just flicing the stick or what?
or does my holding the stick just improve the random generated chance not to get takend down depending on my skill, fatigue etc?Comment

Re: OS Official UFC Undisputed Strategy and Help Thread
I'm getting better at it. My problem was I was kind of pushing the stick forcefully in a direction and letting go. It's really gotta be more of a quick, light flick, which can be hard to do in the midst of a bunch of action. Once I started focusing on that, I was doing better, but I've still got a lot of room for improvement. Very useful, especially the lunging jab to get inside Liddell's range.Comment

FINALLY I submitted Chuck. 3rd round, stamina was less than 1/4 bar and all yellow. Triangle choke.Comment

Practice just flicking the left stick (any direction) and watching your guy your guy take a quick step. Once you initiate the step, you have a rather large window of opportunity to hit a strike button..::..::::::::.:.:.:.:....:::.:.::::..:.:::....:::: ...:..::."When you're an assassin, you don't have a conscience"-Gilbert ArenasComment
