17 minutes of Diego Sanchez, just letting his thoughts flow. I found it entertaining, especially the whole part about why he left Jackson/Wink towards the last 5 minutes or so. Very interesting stuff.

As we all know, 205 is very weak right now. You look at the top 10, and it’s just filled with unimpressive names. Oezdemir, Reyes, Smith, Latifi, Santos. I’ve felt for a long time that an elite middleweight could come up and cut right through those names. I don’t know if Rockhold’s gonna be the guy, but he damn well could be.
Rockhold has ton's of potential to be that guy. We'll see how he holds up at 205 tonight. Hopefully he has a good showing, cuz honeslty looks like the UFC is running out of exciting new opponents for Jones. A potential fight with him and Rockhold would be the most exciting in a while, cuz of the bad blood between him and DC. Not to say this fight tonight with Santos isn't exciting...Santos has heavy hands which increases his punchers chance, but we all know there is a considerable skill gap between them and Jones is on the better end of that. That said, Jones is still human and if anyone can put his lights out in this division now since Rumble left, it's probably Santos.

Sad to see DC go out like that. He just wasn't himself and gassed in round 2. He was either hiding something or just not mentally into it. He needs to retire, wish he went out as the champ though.

Rory/Lima up in 2 hours ish. Rory is one of the guys who got me hooked on the sport, and he's my baby boi. but he's got a tall order infront of him.

Got a MMA fantasy league going on and I'm in first place by the skin of my teeth. last fight is this one. Rory losing by anything worse than a DQ and I lose the league.

Jones may not want to go to the judges. He isn't a great boxer.

Feel bad for Reyes - he should have won. Yes Jones was winning 4 and 5 and would have won 6 if they did that - but 10 point must system he lost...sorry but he did lose 1,2,3 no doubt. Bad judging period.

As I said, I thought he lost against Santos too, although admittedly hard to give a dude rounds when he legs keeps popping out of place...this one was much easier to judge imo., it was pretty clear who won each round.

Yep Reyes won 3-2 and I could argue 4-1. No way Jones had 4-1 and 3-2 isn't possible with the striking differential in rounds 1-3. His takedowns weren't takedowns and should count nothing more than a strike for not even really getting him down.

He's looked bad since he can only picogram now. The UFC keeps protecting him to keep his status but I'm not sure there are that many fans who still like him.

I hear you guys. The scores were bonkers. But neither Santos or Reyes BEAT Jon Jones. I mean, that's how we wanna win? by edging a split decision? I had the fight a toss up: Reyes 1,2 Jones 4,5. It def was not a robbery in either direction.

The judges were awful all night though. That Derrick Lewis fight...

That's exactly how I feel. How many times has a champ lost the belt to judges? And I'm really asking the question. I don't know. But I can't imagine it be much.

It was a bad decision when most of the writers, media, and fans all had Reyes winning.

Jones doesn't open himself to be beaten outside of the judges. He plays it safe since he won the title and got through the aging stars at the beginning of his career. He uses his length to keep you away and kicks your knees if you get close. Then if you somehow get inside he puts his fingers up and pokes you in the eyes to push off. It's very hard to hit him cleanly because of that. His style then leads to allowing him to go forward because you have to backup or get kicked in the knee or poked. Reyes hurt him and Jones then ran to keep from going down.

Unfortunately Jackson has got him to be way to conservative. Jones has a great fight IQ and sticks to the gameplan.

Someone needs to kick his legs and body. Stop going for the head and start with the body.
