If you saw the picture of him with his shirt off, he looks bigger than HW DC. His gut was huge. I don't think he fights again.

So based on the latest from Dana/UFC, what are your thoughts on Gus possibly being the next title challenger for DC?

As far as the Rockhold comment, I like it and I think that's the right fight and best fight to make at the moment.

The Gus comment, I mean, I dunno. I know it's just Dana basically speculating and nothing's certain, but, if they give him the next title shot I'm not sure how I feel. It's not as bad as Sonnen getting the shot at 205, but still, I mean the guy just got viciously separated from his consciousness in his last fight.

Although, looking at the 205 rankings, I guess there's really no one else other than Bader and Gus is by far the bigger draw.

I dont like it at all. I'm not for giving title shots to people who just lost when their are other contenders with winning streaks available. I think DC/Gus is the better fight but I feel bad for Bader.

All of Chuck's power came from his gut. Rashad is just adding more KO power right now. He'll be in fight shape soon enough.

That doesnt look great but thats nothing that cant be fixed by a training camp and weight cut. I dont think he would even be trying to work out of he wasnt interested in coming back.

I see that Gil is stepping in for Bobby Green against Raging Al on the San Diego card next month.

I am considering trying to get a ticket to the show. I usually head home for a week or two each summer and this would time out pretty perfectly as far as vacationing right before I need to report back to work in August.

A joint kickboxing and MMA show is headed to Spike TV in the fall.

According to sources with knowledge of the situation, Glory Kickboxing has agreed to partner with Bellator MMA for a hybrid combat sports show in September. The news is expected to be announced at a Friday press conference in St. Louis, site of Bellator 138.

The event, which is slated to take place in San Jose, Calif., will feature a Glory ring and a Bellator cage in the arena. Naturally, the kickboxing matches will take place in the ring, while the MMA fights will be held in the cage.

Among the names expected to fight on the card are Tito Ortiz, Phil Davis, Paul Daley and Joe Schilling. It's unclear at this time how many fights will take place on the card.

On Thursday, Bellator sent an e-mail to the press about an announcement on Friday at 5:15 p.m. ET. In that e-mail was a picture of a hand wearing a Bellator glove, while holding a stick of dynamite. While not officially confirmed at this time, it appears as though the joint venture will revive the Dynamite!! brand, which was synonymous with hybrid shows in Japan.

The event is expected to air on Spike TV.
