It tells you how much cred you need to unlock sponsors on the unlock screen under game progress.

I finally got a fight of the night award. Head kick when they try to touch gloves,got hit by a hook,came back with another head kick and I win in 12 seconds. KO and fight of the night.

Just when I thought career mode couldn't get any worse...

I decide to try for sub of the night against Bonner,not a high sub rating but figured I'd go for it anyway since it's an achivement to get all 3...

Try #1. Award goes to Tanner who beat Grove. Simply hit the eject button and reload.

Try #2. Award goes to Tanner who beat Grove,hmph. Oh well try again.

Try #3. Award goes to Tanner who beat Grove...ummm

Try #4. Guess what? That's right! Award goes to Tanner who beat Grove.

Try #5. Award goes to Tanner who beat Grove.

Try #6. Award goes to Tanner who beat Grove.

Try #7. Award goes to Tanner who beat Grove.

And all of a sudden it becomes clear why we can't watch fights or it seems impossible to win awards sometimes.

Try #8. Now an entirely new fight. I win by submission. Don't get the award. In fact no one does. IT WASN'T EVEN GIVEN OUT. 2 more tries on the same fight with different moves and it still wasn't given out.

how did you get the submission?

I made a post earlier - just do the submission achievement where you throw no punches or kicks, and you'll get it.

Kicked him untill he was at the least possible energy/health. Had to get the new guy rocked because it just passed that strange point of not working how it does in exhibition anymore and still not having a great rating. I'm done with this mess anyway,take my title and go home.

I made a post earlier - just do the submission achievement where you throw no punches or kicks, and you'll get it.

I just tried making a new guy (Middleweight this time). First fight I got KO of the Night, and the second time I tried to get the submission award. I kept taking the guy down at will and locked in like 20 submissions (tried the stick and button mashing). I never threw a punch, but locked in the arm bar from full mount, the Kimoura from half guard and side, the leg lock from up-down... NOTHING!! My submission offense is only a 30 right now, and my strength is mid-50's (it's only my second fight).

I can't get it.

Im currently 19-8-0 and ranked 8th having lost my first title defense to Cain Velasquez. Question, has anyone else had trouble not getting the in-game trophy for winning the belt? I go to my trophy page and its blank even though I beat Fabricio Werdum for the belt before dropping it on my first defense, do I have to defend it to get credit? If so that makes no sense considering it just says you have to win it.

Same thing happened to me. My career fighter won the belt from GSP, defended it once, and lost it right before he hit retirement. I thought it was strange that there was no belt in his trophy case. I wonder if you need to retire as the Champ.

The game is just slower then **** to recognize when certain things are achieved. I went on to win the belt again and this time it registered, my last fight of my career happened to be my 10th win in a row and it didnt give me that trophy now either, comical imo. I like the game but I cant sit through the boredom that is career mode, its so lifeless and tiresome that I dont see how anyone can enjoy doing it more then once.

My fighter didnt make the hall of fame which sucked, finished 27-8 with 10 straight wins and retired as the champ. I did every single promotional event that came up in hopes that the hall of fame had something to do with your cred but apparently thats not the case since it didnt work. Now Im on to messing around with the classic fights and online once that gets fixed but at this point I almost feel like Ive done everything I can do with this game.

Well i finally finished my first career mode with my middleweight fighter. After what seemed like forever i finally got a chance to take the title against Anderson Silva in my final year of my contract. I knocked him out in the second round to take the belt and then defended it against Thales Leites but i lost it to Dan Henderson. Since i was so far along in my career i thought i wouldn't get another shot at the title so i took i fight i knew i could win and i TKO'd Yushin Okami.

After that fight was over I got the email saying it was gonna be my last fight and i was awarded one more shot to claim the title and retire the champ. I was going up against Rich Franklin and i knocked him out with a big hook only 1 minute into the fight. So i ended my career 27-9 and retired the middleweight champion. I didn't get into the hall of fame which kinda stinks but i will have to do that with another created fighter

I am 17-8 with my heavyweight I am ranked 11th. I have beat Sylvia 3 times but, I want Lesner. I was 0-3 won 10 strait then went 5-5 and am back on track with 2 wins in a row time to make a run at the title.

Penn keeps giving my lightweight fits...I work him over pretty well standing but then he pulls guard and triangles me...it doesnt matter how high my stamina bar is, it doesnt matter how high his stamina bar is, once he realizes he cant take me standing up, he does whatever he has to do get it to the ground and then insta-subs me so frustrating

My title fight against Lesner sucked big time. I was all pumped during the intros and the beginning of the fight was awesome. I knocked him on his butt early in the 1st and then we spent 3 min fighting on the ground with no damage either way. 2nd round I knock him on his butt again I end up on the ground again for 3 min trying submissions and working postion and boom KO'd by one punch that landed. I know it happens in real life and I know Lesner is huge but it still sucked that I was winning the entire fight and boom out. career record 21-10 with the final email coming soon.

Ok during sparring i got 144 points to use. I thought 100 was the max but i was wrong. I had a 400 point different between me and the sparring partner. Anyone else do this? For the record i only did it once.

And i have a strong feeling that you get into the hall of fame with 100,000 cred. Can any confirm?

people do it all the time. they even dashboard out if they don't get 144. That's how people are getting 115 OV CAFs.

How do you get in the hall of fame?

w/ Fedor I went 31-4, overall 93. I had 4 ko's of the night, 1 submission of the night and 1 fight of the night, and held the title for at least 12 fights.

what more does it take?
