Re: Official UFC 09 Undisputed Career progression thread
How do you delete a fighter altogether? I restarted a Career, and I want the old character to just disappear. How do I get rid of him? I retired him, but I just want a clean slate with my new guy.

Go to system settings on your dashboard and delete the file. Only way I could get it to work.Comment

You can delete retired fighters by going to the retired fighters section of the career menu. I don't remember exactly how it's done, but it wasn't too hard.Impact de Montréal

Yeah, it's in there somewhere. I don't remember exactly either, but I remember once I dug around in there, it was easy enough to find.Comment

Re: Official UFC 09 Undisputed Career progression thread
I was 21-1 defending my title for the 6th time, and lost to Evans after i beat him twice, got a rematch with him, lost to Evans again, than fought Tito after i dropped 2 to Evans, and get knocked out with 5 seconds left in the 3rd to lose for the 3rd time, I go to the career page, and there is an email with Dana White retiring me... WTF!!! 3 loses in a row & he cans me!!!Comment

You have to select the retired fighters list from the career menu - select the fighter you want, and a menu pops up and I believe the bottom option is "delete".Comment

Re: Official UFC 09 Undisputed Career progression thread
No, you can't. No, it's not the dumbest thing ever. There were collision detection issues, so instead of releasing a shoddy game, they removed it until they can do it right.Comment

Re: Official UFC 09 Undisputed Career progression thread
Who cares about FN? This isn't fight night - and to many people it's not an issue at all. I'm sure they'll work on it for next year - and if you want to bring up FN - FN Rd1 was a pile of ****, but it was released and worked on each year - so how is that different?Comment

Re: Official UFC 09 Undisputed Career progression thread
That deletes everything related to your game, including unlocks, unless 360 is done differently than PS3. PS3 has one huge file that stores everything.

EDIT: Didn't see you said, PS3 or 360. On the 360, I can do it the way I mentioned. I couldn't figure out another way to do it.Comment

Re: Official UFC 09 Undisputed Career progression thread
No it doesn't. Don't delete the main UFC file, just delete the created file. I did it twice and nothing else was deleted. It's like any game save, you delete certain things.
