Re: Fedor v. Rogers: Nov. 7 on CBS!
There's no if's and but's, though. Miller was going to clearly choke him out. He didn't because time ran out. That's fine. No one is saying that Miller should be credited with a win. Some of us just aren't ignoring the fact that the only significant action in that fight was Miller slapping on a RNC that would have choked Shields out if there were five more seconds.Comment

Re: Fedor v. Rogers: Nov. 7 on CBS!
Shields had so many dominant positions and couldn't do anything to come close to ending it any of those times. Shields and Miller both know that fight was over when that choke was in. It'll go down in the books as a win for Shields, but a hell of a lot of people know Miller had it.
Moral victory Miller. I was more impressed that he actually got into position in all of that and had Shields done. Shields had so many opportunities and never really did anything with them.Comment

I think my point is pretty clear. Miller actually had the fight in finish mode and both fighters know it; as do most people watching the fight.

Sure Miller had the rear naked choke but he didn't finish it in time. I guess we should just have 1 round with no time limit where the first guy to submit/KO wins.....
Another thing, this is the first time I've seen Shields and if he is as good as this fight showed (which isn't that great) then he will end up losing the belt soon.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.

Exactly. This 100%. Miller had his chances but he didn't finish. You can say the same for Shields in terms of finishing but he out-wrestled Miller and that is part of the sport.

You know, watching that EA Sports MMA footage again, I'm not even sure it's in-game stuff. At the very end they show the start of a fight between Rogers and Fedor and they run at each other all gorilla-style right away before it cuts to the title screen thing. Why would they animate something like that in the actual game? It's ridiculous. It seems like something they'd do with CG just for that shot in a trailer. So yeah, I don't know. As always with video games, it's best to wait to see it actually being played before forming any judgements.Comment

Main Event time. I wanna see if Fedor is really going to live up to all the hype. Dana will love it if Fedor gets knocked lol.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. You get the support your body needs.
