Anybody catch this last night? Im watching it right now and I dont see how anyone can dislike GSP, and Im a huge fan of BJ Penn so it would be easy to say I dislike him, but the guy is just likeable in every way. I REALLY hope he comes out and stomps Hardy and he should as long as he doesnt attempt to stand with him, I dont want to see a replay of what happened when he fought Sera.

EDIT- Listening to Hardy call all GSP fans nuthuggers is a little ridiculous. If he wasnt any good but everyone claimed him to be then I could see it, but I suppose Hardy is just trying to sell a fight with his talk anyways and probably doesnt believe half of what he says.

I watched it. Very well done, reminded me of 24/7 on HBO

As always with these hype shows, you're going to come across some fake stuff. Hardy calling out the nuthuggers was one of those act type things just to hype the fight.

I wonder if it'll replay before the next episode?

It was the highest rated Primetime show for the UFC, with 1 million viewers. I don't think people were tuning in to see Hardy.

My buddy and I make bets every so often on PPVs. The winner always gets a game on Steam. The last two went my favor when I picked K Flo to beat Clay Guida (easy pick) and then the last one was Cain over Big Nog. Now my friend, who is reeling from all these defeats throws this one at me.

He picks that there will be a decision. That was it. That the fight will go 5 rounds, that is his pick. I figure that GSP should dominate and finish the fight but of course I am giving Hardy a punchers chance to catch him. I don't see how I can lose. Hardy is no where near the match that Alvez or Fitch were. Easy money in my mind.

i was thinking about it, but i'm going to hold off. I work for a ticket broker so i've been following the prices of tickets and they're gonna drop the week of the fight so if i do decide to go i'll just get a ticket the week of the fight i guess. I would like to go since Newark is a quick & easy train ride from where i live but i havent been able to find anyone interested in going so it might be one of those last minute things i decide to do or i'll just watch it on sopcast.

That is a safe bet dude, I'd be surprised if it went a full 2.

Not really a fan of GSP or Hardy. Hardy can drop GSP if he catches him, but I'm sure we'll see Georges put him to the ground like he does everybody.

I will be there too. If you plan to catch the prelim fights, expect to be there for a long time. The prelims start at 7 and the event probably wont end until 1. There are down periods during the main card if they need to show some of the prelim cards during the main card as time fillers. Other than that its going to be great.

Sold out crowd, the number of Canadians and Englishmen coming over, 2 title fights and great under card. Its going to be incredible.

I spent a lot of time switching between watching the actual fight and watching the video screen, but that was due to being in the cheap seats.

I'm usually a type of guy just wants to see the fights, but I really enjoyed the fighter walkouts.

One thing that stuck out to me was how incredible the sound system was. I know that's an odd thing to mention, but I remember that pretty clearly.

I'm sure the crowd up there will be better than the one I went to. It was so frustrating listen to people boo when the fight went to the ground.

                              This.

I went to Dallas and there were 13 fights. It was amazing. I felt like I got more than my moneys worth.

But like aholbert32 said, once the main events start expect some down time unless the fights are lasting a long time.

I'm going to do a 3 fight parlay with GSP, Mir, and either Fitch or Alves. Alves got destroyed by GSP in his last fight and I wasn't impressed with Fitch's performance against Pierce.

I might have to flip a coin between the 2.
