I apologize because it's prolly been covered. But last year if I'm on my back an the CPU is trying to transition to a dominant position, I could jus flick the right stick an I could reverse an gain the upperhand. This year the only thing I have been able to do when on my back is hold him until the Ref breaks it up. What am I doing wrong? Thanks

Slightly, but most of the time I can still get them... once you can lab in practice mode and find the points again it'll be just as easy as last year it seems like. Hopefully the ratings and different fighter styles make it a little more interesting than 2009 though, because the constant reversals got old for sure.

Click the left stick in. You don't really need to run much in this game though.

I hope to god that it's easier to get submissions in the retail game I'm having a hard time getting them at all. I actually got my first submission last night and i had to put the difficulty to experienced.

I hope to god that it's easier to get submissions in the retail game I'm having a hard time getting them at all. I actually got my first submission last night and i had to put the difficulty to experienced.

I also hope that getting out of subs is easier in the retail. As soon as the CPU locks me in a sub, I tap.

I will say that I'm liking the striking game the more I play (on PS3 now). I had a nice battle against Rashad with Rampage and KO'd 'Shad with a nice counter hook.

Haven't found the CPU sub thing at all... I've only gotten submitted once and it took my by surprise (it was immediately after a clinch slam by Machida) and I screwed up the shine. Other than that, I've always been able to get out.

I've been submitted once and have submitted the CPU once... both on Expert.

The submission is ridiculous on expert..I dont even get a chance to get out of it..Ive had my stamina bar full..get put in a submission and not have more than 1/4 of my bar go down and my guy submits. I haven't been able to submit the CPU, Sway, barely ever get a takedown..get reversed as soon as I touch the controller...It just seems really frustrating considering I can do these things on the lower levels like it was nothing but as soon as I go on expert...the controls stop working...I know its suppose to be hard but seriously? I dont even get a chance...Ive smash a controller already and put my preorder money on a new controller instead of the game..do the developers think its funny to leave some really important controls of the moves list and make the game ******** and frustrating? If you have some hints Im open..

P.S I can win on expert...but its the most boring and pathetic fight ever..block and counter...repeat...as soon as im on the ground I either have to use my guard till the ref stands us up or get tapped...even if I have full stamina

the level that is most realistic i think is experienced

Has anyone notice tge AI throwing combos or not??? I deleted the demo and all of the vids out are on the lowest level..


Also will the DLC fighters from gamestop be imported to the career mode???

I don't know if its me but, whenever I try a submission, I CANNOT get it to work. Is there something I'm missing? Like pressing buttons, or rotating one of the joysticks?

And ontop of that, is there anyway to try and counter a submission?

I wondered about this too. If I download the GameStop fighters, will they be in career mode?
