Man, my boy got dominated. I have to learn to stop talking ****. Bones is an Animal. Dude is the most patient aggressive fighter I've ever seen. Although doubtful, would love to see him and Silva.

Looking at Bones... and looking at the division... I just don't see it. The LHW division isn't stacked either.
If I have to dig up quotes then I will, because I know it was said for both guys around here.

What was scary about Jones' performance is how it seemed he was out to prove a point. You could tell that he wanted to show he was better than Rua wherever the fight went.

            And he did.

I know that was said about both guys, and I'm saying it was very silly for people to be saying that.

I know people were saying that about Lesnar here, but that was nothing short of laughable. I definitely said he wasn't. And across other boards nobody was convinced, but yeah on OS for some reason Lesnar was somehow invincible.

None of those guys had the physical gifts mixed with immense skill and ability on the feet and the ground all rolled into one like Jones has.

Machida was simply a counter striker and Lesnar was simply a bear who would get on top of you. Neither guy showed me there was no way of beating him. They both had holes in their games.

What holes does Jones have? I could understand if Shad was looking awesome lately.. he hasn't... or if Rampage actually cared and still used his wrestling.. he doesn't... The division isn't what it used to be.

It doesn't really matter what holes he does or doesn't have in his game. The fact is he could get caught with one perfect punch or sub any time.

Trust me, I hope Bones ends up running through every one and defending that strap, but I just can't buy that absolutely no one can beat him.

Wow. I expected Bones to win but I didn't expect him to massacre Shogun like that. Just an absolutely brutal beating.

There's a difference here, I never said there's absolutely no one that can beat him. Nowhere did I say that. I'm saying I don't really see it as being likely, looking at Rampage, Shad, Forrest, Machida.. I wouldn't see any of them beating Jones. But yeah it's a fight, anything could happen.

I have never seen anyone look that dominant against a guy the caliber of Shogun.

I might be, but probably not.

So, since I somehow missed the press conference even though it never loaded on any of the 3 websites I kept checking, did I miss anything?

So since Bones went untouched tonight, is Bones/Rashad going to be the main event at 132?

Rua deserves mad props for surviving that long

He looked really slow today and I have never seen Rua overmatched like that. A result of the knee injury/long layoff or is Jones just that much of a beast? Maybe both

can't wait until Jones' next match
