Also read that Royce Gracie is finalizing a one fight contract to compete on the Rio card but no opponent has been named. Its obviously not too surprising since his name will carry a lot of weight down there.

I'm honestly so whatever about GSP vs. Silva now. GSP sounds like he needs time to get accustomed to the higher weight. That sounds like it's gonna take some time and be a process.

Silva should be able to wreck at his homecoming.

Not sure what his next fight will be, but I'm already looking past this one

Nobody else announced yet for the card?

I am assuming that both Nog's are going to try and get on this card. Probably Vitor, and other popular Brazilian fighters. I also read something on MMAjunkie about Edson and Takanori possibly on this card.

Agree on all points. The first thing I thought of when reading this is how much further down the road the "super fight" would be.

After what happened against Sonnen I won't say this is an easy fight for Silva at all. Okami has the skill to put Silva on his back and has much better sub defense than Sonnen.

I still favor Silva, but I think it will be tougher than the Belfort fight for him.

I'm not so sure I couldn't have given Silva a better fight that Belfort that night.

Just looking back at their first fight, looking at Okami's recent fights... I mean I don't see it resulting in any other way than in Silva's favor.

He may have better sub D than Sonnen, but he doesn't shoot like Sonnen, doesn't have the power to keep you down like Sonnen.

Silva is gonna be able to pick him apart standing. Sonnen never gave Spider a chance to be comfortable standing up because Sonnen was looking to take him down every time.

Okami aint gonna do that to him, not even close.

Anderson going to KO him. And I am so sick of Royce Gracie......He hasn't had a win in MMA in over a decade. I say let him fight Matt Hughes again for Matt Hughes can embarrass him again.

Sure his family did a lot for MMA, but it was like once other people learned BJJ, Royce wasn't crap.

That's not saying a whole lot.

Anything can happen in a fight, but this still seems like a mismatch.

Damn, I was just thinking this would be Shogun's next fight.

                          Yesssss

Shogun! If he wins, hopefully he gets another shot after Rampage.

Or maybe they'll put Shogun v Machida they both win to determine who gets the next shot after Rampage? Or too much Shogun v Machida..

                          Looking too far ahead

Anyway, now hopefully Aldo makes quick work and can fight on the card too! My dream will come true lol. Spider/Shogun/Aldo on the same card

Hopefully they put Royce on the undercard. He has no business being on a PPV card.
