Shogun took the kind of beating that I might classify as a career-ender.

I hope for his sake he wins, because if he doesn't.... his psyche may be damaged for good.

For now I have no feeling one way or the other, I'd like to get updates on both guys as training picks up.

He may have better sub D than Sonnen, but he doesn't shoot like Sonnen, doesn't have the power to keep you down like Sonnen.

Silva is gonna be able to pick him apart standing. Sonnen never gave Spider a chance to be comfortable standing up because Sonnen was looking to take him down every time.

Okami aint gonna do that to him, not even close.

Not talking about the actual result of the fight. In the buildup some people on here were interested in seeing the fight because they felt it was finally someone who would be able to stand and trade with Silva. Obviously Silva made quick work of him, but before the fight happened people were excited to see what would happen.

Also there's no way that they will stick Royce on the undercard which sucks. Going to be a terrible fight if they either go with a current UFC fighter, or do a classic match like Gracie/Sukuraba or Gracie/Jimmerson.

Apparently Barboza v Pearson has been verbally agreed upon according to Dana

Card is shaping up, I wonder if they add one more major fight. Even as it is now I would love the card.

According to Dana, no Royce on the Rio card.

Unless he has spent a ton of time working on his wrestling, Forrest is going to maul him like he did Franklin. Forrest isnt anything like Machida, this won't be a kickboxing match.
