Looks like its Condit v. Diaz and Penn v. Fitch 2 now.

Scratch that: Looks like Condit doesnt want to fight now with the title not on the line. This goes from a must buy to me watching it on the internet.

Yup, looks like Penn/Diaz is the Main Event (three round fight, not five according to Dana) now with Condit waiting for GSP.

Feel bad for all the people that booked time off work and bought tickets/hotel/flight to see GSP defend the title.

I'm still excited to watch Penn/Diaz though. This injury probably puts Meathead/Kongo in the co-main event with Siver/Cerrone bumped into the main card.

The winner of Penn/Diaz could be waiting for 8-12 months for a title shot if GSP is out for a couple of months and Condit decides to wait it out. I bet you Fitch called Silva/White and offered to step in if a title shot was on the line and got shot down.

Rumor is GSP is only out a month with a sprain. Could be rescheduled for Jan/Feb.

GSP medial collateral ligament NOT torn, he'll be sidelined 4-6 weeks, will fight Condit for title in 1st quarter of '12, UFC says.

Hopefully we get to see GSP vs. Condit on the "first official" Fox card in 2012. GSP is the 2nd biggest PPV draw so I'm not sure if the UFC would want to give away his fight for free though.

I doubt that will happen. Maybe they will schedule him for another Vancouver/Toronto/Canada event.

Montreal is getting a PPV in the first quarter of 2012 so the UFC could move his fight there.

That would sound ideal. I wonder how Condit would feel about that though. He went from fighting in Vegas to possibly Canada :/

I can't see him being that mad. One its a fight for the title and the crowd would have been cheering for GSP in Vegas. Two, Montreal isn't Brazil. Its a quick flight.

                                I'm sick.

Forked over $1000 for flight, hotel and ticket.
