Usually not a good idea to wrestle with a much better wreslter. Clinch and cage work seems like the best plan for Rampage with the huge 11.5 inch reach advantage Jones has.

    Awesome trailer.

I don't know if Rampage is going to be the one to do it, but I want to see how Jones responds to adversity in a fight. Has he even really been hit with a hard shot yet? Watching dominance is fun but we don't really know what the guy is made of.

        I agree.

Shogun was obviously his toughest opponent. Before that it was Bader, and Bader got destroyed by an over the hill Ortiz.

I think Rampage will give him a tougher fight than Shogun did. Which really isn't saying a whole lot though.

Evans will be a tough test for him though, his quickness could potentially give him some trouble.

I thought Shogun got one in on him. Just one though.

Outside of Shogun, Jones has been babied along but I don't think it's fair to look back and make too sharp conclusions and say "Fighter X got destroyed by over the hill Fighter Y". We can always go back and poke holes against opponents. He really hasn't been tested because all of the guys he's faced had deficiency in their skill sets, but I'm not gonna downplay the Bader win because Tito honestly didn't really show much to be honest.

Any of the LHW contenders is a great fight however because most of them are for the most part well rounded. Rampage has takedown defense and power, Machida stays on the outside and is still a puzzle for the most part, and Evans knows Jones inside and out and is a strong wrestler.

I hate waiting for these fights to come, it's almost unbearable.

Diego is hurt and he is out of 125. Dana is looking for a replacement.

That's contingent though on Hughes agreeing to fight Koscheck and Hughes has been very reluctant to fight anyone from AKA.

It is, but I still have Hughes losing to Koscheck. Short notice fight could be interesting for him though.

It's finally fight week. I thought it would never arrive.

I'm happy we'll get to see Josh's return. Hopefully he makes it a good one

Hughes needs to retire. Koscheck is going to knock his head into the 10th row.

Seriously though. What's the point of having Hughes still fight. That's kind of the weird thing about combat sports. Once your time is up, it's up. Dudes who linger but really have no shot of becoming contenders are irrelevant to me.

I'm not too fond of this gatekeeper business, if that's indeed what Hughes has become.

Oh well, maybe this will be considered his last run. I guess I can't knock his recent resume too much.

It is going to be sad to see the lingerers in 10-15 years. I think once a fighter has been elected into the HOF that should be it. No need to prove anything else.
