I personally believe that is how Jones will win, if he does. I don't see him stopping Rampage.

Re: Jones v. Rampage - UFC 135- SEPT 24- DENVER

For me it's tough to see it lasting 5 rounds. There's just too much stoppage capability in both men, and I know both will turn it on and try to put on a show at some point... possibly leaving them vulnerable.

First time in a long time I have actually liked Rampage and Ariel. I hate both but in this interview I loved them.

Some very tempting odds on the Jones/Rampage fight right now:

Jones wins by 5 round decision: +500
Jones and Rampage complete 2 full rounds: Even

            On the football side:

Brady and Fitzpatrick combined passing yards 555.5, the Over is at -130

Even odds for 2 rounds? I'd take that. Bader went 2 with him. Rua went 3. Obrien and Bonner took him the full 3. The only way I wouldnt take that belt is if you think Rampage is going to knock him out early.

I was shocked when I saw those odds. Like you said, a lot of Jones fights have gone to the 3rd round. 4 of the last Rampage fights have gone to the 3rd round and he's never been stopped in the UFC.

Now that I'm going to bet on this I'm sure the fight will end in 20 seconds.

Another good value bet +275 on Aaron Riley to beat Tony Ferguson. Tony Ferguson shouldn't be a -350 favorite against any fighter in the UFC.

I did a all under-dog main card parlay bet (Jackson/Hughes/Gomi/Hunt/Broughton). The $1 bet pays out $1059.20

What kind of success have you had betting on MMA this year?
There's value in prop bets but I think it's almost impossible to win parlay bets because there's always at least one upset on the main card. From my personal experience, the NFL is the easiest sport to win money (especially when you add in teasers/sweetheart teasers).

I think you are severely underestimating Ferguson. I think he will eventually be a contender.

I don't know precisely what "complete" rounds actually means, but I'm guessing it means it lasts 10 mins + 1 second at the very least.

Therefore, Bader lasted a round a half. Rua lasted 2 and a half or so. Bonnar took 3 whole rounds, but O'Brien lasted a round and a half.

I'm not impressed with the recent TUF guys. I don't understand why he's such a big favorite over Riley. His biggest victory was against Nijem.

I just saw the Jones/Rampage interview on ESPN. Despite all the "bad blood", I bet you these guys will be embracing after the fight. Even with the war of words, Rampage managed to plug K-Swiss (Jones sponsor) and MusclePharm (Rampage sponsor), lol.

Maybe you will be after this fight. Tony has the style that could make him very good. He has good power, unorthodox striking, good wrestling too.
I'm not saying he is going to beat Frankie, Gray now, but I think he can continue to improve. While I haven't been impressed lately with the TUF winners either, I am very impressed with Tony Ferguson.
