Official UFC Undisputed 3 Impressions Thread

I see plenty of subs both by me and the CPU. I subbed Rampage in :59 seconds in my career and even subbed Mark Hunt with Pat Barry in the 1st Rd this is one advanced/sim. One thing that helped me is I turned the HUD on for my offline matches.

Online , on the other hand, subs are few and far between. In my offline event league with my co-worker we've fought a total of 102 fights so far and have seen 3 subs. It's much harder to sub a human than the CPU, IMO.

What level are you playing on? I see attempts all the time, but rarely get subbed. I'm just stubborn w/ the HUD. I like to keep it off as I feel it adds to the realism.

Advanced/Sim. We've played once so you know that I'm not that great at the game
Advanced/Sim seems to be the perfect setting for me. In my offline event mode, I have six fight per event and so far through 10 events my record against the CPU is 32-28. In those 60 fights, I've subbed the CPU 8 times and the CPU has subbed me 4 times. In my opinion, that's a little low, but I'm still hesitant to go to the ground with guys like Mir, Maia, etc.

Also, I actually feel the same about the HUD. I turned it on for awhile mainly to get a good feeling on how stamina and damage effect subs. Now that I've got a pretty good grip on things, I'm going to turn it off.

Yea, idk. I feel great being on my back on the ground. I feel like I know when to be patient and when to transition and etc. Weird, but it's when I'm on the top where I struggle. This is game is just flat out fun!

anybody of you has experience with fighting against john fitch? im able to defeat the computer on expert but against him i cant even win using higher rated fighters on advanced
he seems to be the complete package, mixing quick striks, take downs, clinching, slams.. when controlled by the computer at least. anybody else made that experience or is my style of fight just not working against him?

EDIT: ok now i won against him 2 times using john kosheck!

Depending on who you use, it is different with each.
With wrestlers, try and take him down and grapple with him.
With strikers stay at a distance and use quick strikes and utilize the body if you are on sim mode because it will gas him.
Maybe work on the takedown intercept knee

yea I was taking an defensive approach blocking his quick strikes and focusing on take down defence, also i knocked him down with body shots a couple of times. that worked well and huge fun fighting against him after all.

what difficulty you are playing on offline, redsrule?

Folks have they updated some ratings?

Brock just went down to an 86! (could have sworn he was an 87)

Just love using him against all the online Cains and Dos Santoses!

i stay with my opinion there is nobody nearly as tough to fight in the entire game as jim fitch is! gsp is a joke compared to him!

Im fight trying to switch to expert since quite some time now, got some wins there already but then I go back to advanced fighting against Fitch after defeating gsp on expert and lose.. I feel like I just don't progress.
