Dana says Hendo is the next opponent

There is nobody ahead of Gustof except Hendo.. so take that however you want. I don't disagree that he should probably need one more win to get a shot but I wouldn't be mad if they bypassed Hendo at all.

Rory says he wouldn't fight GSP if the situation called for it. Their gym has a rule against it. Obviously Tristar is not Snake Jackson affiliated.

MMA needs to move away from that in my opinion

I don't want guys getting that close to the point to where they are too buddy buddy to fight each other

        That's lame

Really? I like contenders to have beat a top 5 fighter in the division before getting a title shot. Gustov v. Bader let's prove if he can beat a wrestler.

The rory situation is a little different. Gsp is like a father figure to him because of the age difference. Also gsp will be retired or a mw by the time rory gets a shot. Condit, ellenberger and Diaz are ahead of him in line.

That's fair, I'm just saying/asking to name me someone ahead of Gustaf not named Hendo.

That's great and all but I still stand by my original statement. I don't want these guys doing all that stuff to be honest. I don't think it'll be a problem going forward with how the sport is evolving.

As I also said before, had Condit lost that close decision to Rory, we would have been at another teammate v teammate debacle.

If Condit lost to rory we would be talking about Diaz or ellenberger instead of Condit. Rory's biggest win would've been over Carlos who at the time wasn't the monster he is now. He hadn't crushed Hardy or Kim yet. It would've been a nice win but he still would've been behind the others.

The teammate thing is a little overblown. The only issue i have is when they won't fight each other and one of them won't leave the division like Fitch an koscheck. Evans was willing to drop down. Gsp is willing to move up. So I don't see it being a problem.

Great fight and gameplane again by Jones...Evans was just to small to and could only get in 2 real good shots and that just isn't going to put Jones away unless you have true 1 punch knockout power.

The only thing left for Jones is Ben and Gustof BUT I do believe Jones should still stay at 205lbs for awhile ...On another note...6 foot 7 Travis Browne looked great in his fight (for what it was worth) and seems to me to be ready to maybe soon take that step for a shot at the number 1....Maybe He and Cain can fight (Since Overeem might get cut) ...I also liked the fact that Big Ben Rothwell is now taking MMA for real and did something to get into top shape I'm sure he will become a handfull for anyone now...Overall good card maybe 3/5

I don't think he should take Cain on short notice. I was thinking either Nelson or Silva.

I was thinking Browne vs Rothwell. I wouldn't mind seeing Cain vs Browne though. I'm not sure Gustof would be ready to fight Jones at the end of the year. I think he may need to more high quality opponents before stepping in with Jones.

Jones showed that he could take a good shot. Rashad also impressed me with the shots he took. Chin getting better. Would like to see Rashad/Machida rematch or Rashad vs Shogun.

I agree completely. If Rory does that to a guy in the top 20 I will be a lot more impressed. I wish him and Erbesole would have gotten to fight.

Hopefully Machida which should be great. Unfortunately they will show this replay 1000 times in the build up for the fight.
