Mir definitely should have went for the take down way more. He went for the take down only one time. That was his down fall. Too much hand speed....

Mir looked relieved to be out of the cage with Dos Santos. After he failed with that first takedown it was like it sucked some of the life out of him. Glad to see JDS defend his title.

There we go, I got more respect for that man for doing that for that kid then anything he will ever accomplish in the cage and the fact that they let him bring the kid in finally is awesome as well.

Hard not to root for and respect JDS. I really do hope he holds onto that belt for a long time. His matches are always fun to watch as well. Glad he won in such a dominating fashion.

Agreed with both, huge fan of JDS. Hes got unbelievable hands and if he can keep from being taken down its going to take something crazy happening for him to lose that belt. Throw in the fact that he went out of his way for that kid when he certainly didnt have to, asked for zero praise for doing it and seemed to genuinely care for him makes me more of a fan then I was before.
