I hate to say this, especially in such a volatile division as HW, but I don't see anyone beating him currently.
Already KO'd Cain, Overeem has great standup skills but a pretty bad chin, Cormier could be interesting. His chin really hasn't been tested though.

Bigger problem is Cromeir and Cain belong to the same camp. Later this year or some time next year they going to be forced to fight each other, unless one drops a weight class.

On a somewhat unrelated note, did they ever mention anything about Arianny being arrested last night on charges of domestic violence? I didnt hear anything myself but missed all the prelims so didnt know if they mentioned anything there as to why she was missing.

Nope, they didn't mention it. She did end up showing up during the event though, so she got out of jail.

- JDS fight when as I expected. Surprised Mir didn't go for another takedown after his early try got stuffed.

- Cain looked very impressive. Might be the biggest beatdown of the year so far, when he gets rolling on the ground that GnP is unstoppable. Hopefully they give him the rematch vs. Dos Santos since Overeem isn't back anytime soon.

- Nice KO from Big Country. Wouldn't mind seeing Nelson vs. Hunt. Struve fight went as expected also since Johnson is lost once the fight hits the ground. He got mounted by Pat Barry of all people somehow.

- Although I'm not their biggest fans it was nice seeing Varner and Hardy get wins, especially Varner. WEC never die!

- If I never see another Jason Miller fight I'll be fine. Worst fighter in UFC history? All 3 of his fights (GSP way back, Bisping, Dollaway) he's been crushed in.

- Teixeira is definitely going to be a guy to keep an eye on. He might have entered the UFC too late thanks to visa issues, but he could easily rise to being a top 10 LHW.

Just give me Dos Santos vs. Cain II though.

Apparently Dana commented on it on the postfight show on Fuel, dont have that channel so have no idea if thats accurate or not.

Ariel reported on the Fuel postfight show that Cain is indeed getting the next shot at the belt.

Apparently Dana commented on it on the postfight show on Fuel, dont have that channel so have no idea if thats accurate or not.

I've been watching the postfight show and he didn't say anything specific. He did say that it would be a good idea if Mayhem retired though because his last two fights sucked lol. He also said Mayhem doesn't take this seriously.

Gotcha, yeah just read that, people were speculating that he completely trashed his warmup room after the fight but outside of that I havent heard anything else and I didnt hear that from anyone with any idea what theyre talking about anyways.

Now the new speculation is that Lesnar is interested in making another comeback and of course Dana did nothing to squash those rumors at the official postfight news conference I heard. Having said that, apparently it was all a WWE work according to CM Punk and thats the only reason Lesnar was there.

Just like I said in November, Dos Santos will be champ for a while and his only nemesis is Cain/Cormier.
