Yep. Silva was a dead man walking. Too bad JBJ couldn't get to him first.

Yeah, you and one other person sent me that link and thats the one I used. Not sure why it was stuttering so badly before completely just freezing up into a still photo, never had the problem before. Ill probably spend the $5 and go with my normal means from here on out but appreciate the link you sent me for sure.

EDIT - Did finally see the punch that put Silva on the mat and it didnt even look like it was that great of a punch, must have hit him perfectly I suppose. Hopefully Anderson wasnt dropping the belt because he was burned out on everything, his commentary after the fight was a little weird with not wanting a rematch and not wanting to fight for the title anymore but maybe Im reading into it too much.

So does this mean he's not gonna fight Jon Jones?

One round of clowning is enough. He thought he was in there with bonnar or Forrest again

I would think he'd be more inclined to fight Jones if people still want it badly enough. He says he doesnt want to fight for the title, which is weird, so who would he fight?

Na he's been taunting most of his career tonight he just happened to get caught. It had nothing to do with him not wanting to win

Reading comments on UFC's website and a few people think he threw the fight. Possible?

I think after Weidman took him down that first time, Anderson didn't want to get on his back again. Hell, the only reason he got up was because Weidman went for a kneerbar. So when they did get back to their feet Anderson was trying to goat him into a standup war. Too bad for him that this isn't Maia or Leites or Lutter or any of the other guys who was memorized by Anderson idiotic shenanigans. Kudos to Weidman for not freezing and being brave enough to take the fight to him.

I have to say that was one of the most rewarding knockouts I have ever witnessed. My throat feels like I've been screaming at a football game for 2-3 hours.... and all I did was get up and did a series of victory laps around the living room while doing a series of Diego Sanchez style "YES's" in a Macho Man Randy Savage voice. Seriously, that was awesome.

People just in denial. He has nothing to gain by fixing the fight. Again he's done this most of his career he just got caught tonight

Seems like he should have known who was in the ring with though. It wasn't Demian Maia.
