Macdonald vs Maia is the one I find most interesting at the moment. Good start for the card for sure

I think Rashad has a good chance to pull this off. It's Cormier's first cut down to LHW and Rashad is the better striker and is much faster than Cormier is. I'm interested in seeing how Cormier's power moves down to LHW as well.

Daniel Cormier has looked pretty darn good at HW so far, and it will surprise me if he doesn't look amazing at LHW as well. I still think Rashad's best chance at getting back to a title is at MW, and maybe he will drop down if he loses this one. If he can win it though, it will certainly put him right back to the top of the LHW title scene. I think DC will be too much for Rashad in this one, but like others have mentioned, it will be interesting to see how the first big cut goes.

I hate this fight for a few reasons...

1. I like both guys and don't want to see either lose
2. Follow up to point one...I want these guys to both fight and beat Jones...this fight will make it difficult for one of them to do that
3. This may actually make for a VERY boring fight. I see Cormier pressing the action...Shad keeping distance...possibly outpointing him with strikes. When Cormier takes him down...he won't do too much damage Shad will get back up and there will be a lot of dancing by Shad. Shad by split decision borefest.

You have two guys who ESSENTIALLy do the same thing and have similar skills...Shad with more speed and better boxing....DC with better wrestling and more power. Shad would be looking to avoid the TD which would be unusual and DC would not be as fast which is normally his advantage.

Makes for a weird fight...with the division being in a worse place regardless of who wins.

I hope they don't fight safe, but I wouldn't blame either of them if they did.

I'm most intrigued by this match to see who the better wrestler is. I think it'll be a great barometer to use also against the rest of the UFC. If they both neutralize eachother's wrestling then we could get a nice stand up match. I do wonder if DC has more power than Rashad, I think it's actually pretty close. It'll be interesting also to see how fast DC is at 205, who knows maybe he'll be close to Rashad's speed and quickness.

Who are some of the bigger women? Every time I've seen Rousey fight, her opponents have been noticeably smaller. Tate, Carmouche and Kaufman. I would like to see Rousey go up against a woman similar in size because she's always the beefier woman making it that much easier to ragdoll her opponents with her judo.
