He was definitely drunk, but I think there was some kind of upper that had him moving around and fidgeting, sweating. Maybe was just nervous but he isn't usually like that.

He doesn't have to stop until 12 hours before, so I doubt he has yet. Although maybe he did stop and was having withdrawals?

Not that I would know, but to me it didn't look like uppers. With something like cocaine I imagine this.

It apparently needs to be mixed, not straight, so he probably just mixed with "coke"

Re: UFC 229: Khabib v McGregor

Rich celebrities don’t use the same coke peasants do. It’s totally different. Pure, high quality coke is a very clean, functional high... it’s not rough on the heart or body really.

So if he did some coke he wouldn’t be geeked out of his mind rambling like a mad man. He’d just completely demolish his opponent in the verbal warfare. Coke is like a PED for press conferences. You’re garunteed to think faster, be more confident, have wittier remarks, etc.

Being said, I don’t think he was high at this presser. Only pressers I’ve seen him high at was low doses at the Alvarez and Aldo pre-fight presser, and high doses for Floyd. He went a bit too far with the coke at the Floyd pressers and you can see the difference. Lower dose he just thinks faster and is “on his game”. Big doses and he just gets too confident and stops thinking about what he’s saying.

While I don’t think occasional use of pure coke will detract from athletic performance, I do think it can play a minor role in mental fortitude when the going gets rough. If McGregor is forced to dig deep in the championship rounds, Khabib will be able to derive energy from his work ethic and mental fortitude, while McGregor will struggle to do so with a clear conscience.

I dunno guys ...the one thing I picked upon after watching the PC was when McGregor was asked to make a prediction as to what round he would end the fight for the first time or so if I'm not mistaken ( I believe he also stuttered to in the may weather prediction ) he appeared to be not so confident in his answer .

I just don't know ...it will be an interesting fight . I fear for McGregor in this one . They want to punish him severely but I wouldn't be surprised if khabib goes for a submission to end the fight early .

I mean this fights not a difficult one in terms of knowing how it plays out. It's still just a classic striker/grappler match. Conor can keep it standing, Khabib likely looses. Khabib can get Conor down and keep him down, Conor likely looses. That said, i'm still interested in seeing how each fighter will approach things. What makes it so exciting is seeing how each fighter will attempt to deal with their weaknesses, should they get put in a tough spot.

I can see this fight ending in 13 seconds with Conor shattering Khabib’s jaw with a left. I can also see Khabib mauling Conor for 25 minutes.

                          And everything in between.

Sean O'Malley fails a drug test. Now out of UFC 229.

Also interesting to see the first scenario of the "USADA won't publicly flag you" rule. Could this be the start of a trend where the fighters themselves come out publicly whenever they fail a drug test? letting them paint their own narrative.
I could see that becoming a problem for USADA in the future...

UFC 229 Khabib vs McGregor is the big game of this Saturday. McGregor will win the title match because he's one of the best UFC fighters. I also support McGregor. What is your suggestion for this fight?
