Those are fair predictions. I have the same.

But I do feel Khabib is a safer pick based on it being easier for him to out-grapple than it would be for McGregor to catch his puncher's chance.

I still think McGregor will win despite that due to the pressure he brings both physically and mentally.

Yh it does, but the thing about it is Khabibs not really a finisher against tough dudes. So say he takes Conor down and GnP's the crap outta him in the 1st. Conor's tough and this is a big fight so unless he ko's or submits Conor, the fight is going to round 2. Conor will get to try again on the feet and Khabib will once again have to go through the fire to get the td. Now if it goes past 2 rounds that all changes and momentum starts going Khabib's way imo. But the reason i'm leaning towards Conor is cuz I feel his movement will be good enough to stifle Khabib's td attempts and keep himself in the open cage, where Khabib has had trouble taking opponents down. I feel he may be able to fend Khabib off long enough to stop him in those first 2 rounds. Of course, that all depends...if Khabib can get Conor down early and keep him down or if he just so happens to have a good chin, that changes.

Khabib is like LW Cain Velasquez. He doesn't give up on his pursuit of the takedown even if he fails a few.

This is Conor's hardest fight imo, his safest way to victory is to do something like what he did against Aldo.
