As far as the dirt sheets and spoilers are concerned, I stopped going to those sites, maybe a year or two ago. Personally, for me, they ruin the show. Why would I want to know what happens ahead of time?? The spoler situation here has been pretty good of late, though someone (dont remember who) let it slip that Hogan was not going to job to Orton, which really sucked b/c Orton is my favorite wrestler and that match was huge (as far as his "legend killer" carrer is concerned). Sucked to know the outcome before watching the PPV.

Now, about the Angle situation. I am just glad to hear that he is doing the right thing. I'm glad that his passion for the buisness (and he has alot) is not going to stop him from recovering. When Kurt debuted, he instantly became my favorite wrestler (all the way up until Orton came), I'm just glad to know he's okay (relatively speaking). Beyond that, I could honestly care less about these guys personal lives. Just like when I watch any other TV show I dont care too much about what the actors do off-screen. Those dirt sheet sites are no different than the enquirer or soap opera digest, and they have no appeal to me. If a story is particularly interesting, then I'll take notice like Angle's release or Orton's suspension, but I dont go looking for this stuff. Both times, I found out here on OS.

The flame wars of the past were just nasty... something I hope OS never sees the likes of again.

In the words of Rodney King "Can't we all just get along?" I appreciate the thoughts and opnions both Candyman and Millenium bring to the wrestling forums. Can't you guys just bury the hatchet and start with a clean slate? What was in the past is in the past.

Back to Angle. I was sorry to see him released he is a great worker and will miss him. Hopefully we will see him back in the ring at some point.

            Re: Kurt Angle Released!

This thread is why I wish OS would make a wrestling forum for those who read dirt sheets and those who don't. I think it'd make more sense to do that than have a forum for TNA and WWE...neither forum is exactly overwhelmed to the point where it needs it's own forum. Whereas a forum for each kind of fan would cater to both kinds of wrestling fans.

I've stopped reading dirt sheets and such recently, and it really does make the product more enjoyable. I really like coming to OS to get people's opinions on wrestling, because it's a rare mix of mature(for the most part) wrestling fans who actually know what they're talking about. But I've been seriously considering not coming here anymore because of how many times I stumble on rumors and spoilers without warning or while reading a live discussion thread. It ruins the point of avoiding all the rumor sites.

Anyways, not to get too far off subject...hopefully Angle takes all the time away from the product that he needs. As entertaining as he is, I'd rather him take the time he needs to heel up, etc.

This thread is done. Good job guys.

And Candy, I wasn't trying to call you out about the dead comments, all I said was I would drop it. You flew off the handle, and like Acid pointed out, you were the one who kept saying that. If you took it wrong, it wasn't meant to be.

                Re: Kurt Angle Released!

I'm going to speak on this once, and only once. Four people - Millennium, Candyman, ExtremeGamer, and Vince - if you can't play nice, I have plenty of options that make sure you do. Believe me, you probably won't like any of them. This thread is a disgrace. You should all be ashamed of yourselves for arguing over such petty bull**** on a internet message board.

I don't care if it's been resolved through PM's. Act like men, and take it there first, before carrying on for 4 pages, then realizing you're sorry for your actions.
