Prowrestling.net is reporting that Vince McMahon was furious after Alberto Del Rio mentioned his name on Raw. The assumption is that McMahon was upset because he is more than likely returning to television soon and didn't want his name mentioned on air. McMahon scolded both the writer and Del Rio after the segment happened and was in a very bad mood the rest of the night.

Yeah, I don't buy that report for a second.

John Morrison’s contract will be expiring soon.

JR had no idea he was going to be fired for the countless time. JR’s wife Jan was sitting ringside, and appeared excited before the segment started.

With the way JR no-sold it, I don't get the feeling he was too bothered by this turn of events. Like I mentioned in the RAW thread, his returning wasn't all that great anyway because of the presence of Cole.

I don't know if I completely believe that about JR. He had to know something was going to happen to him in Oklahoma. I can't think of a time they haven't done something negative to him starting back when Stone Cold whipped him with his belt at the Smackdown following WM 17.

Yeah, at this point I'm pretty sure Ross knows it's part of the business, and part of the show. He's been embarrassed and screwed over so many times, yet still loves the company and still will likely stay there forever. In some ways it's admirable, but another part of me is like "Why doesn't he leave and just stick it to them once and for all?"

                      Or, it's a work. I really think it's a work. If it wasn't they would't have posted this: http://vids.wwe.com/13637/wwecom-exc...im-ross-on-his

Or that. Funny how these 'dirt sheets' screw up so often on what's real or not. You know it's good when WWE is faking out the dirtsheets like they seem to be regularly lately.

Of course it's a work. People get "fired" from the WWE on TV when they're leaving the company all the time, but the WWE would never really fire someone on live television.

Vince fired Jeff Jarrett on live television after buying WCW.

                              Jarrett deserved it though.

Mick Foley is being advertised for the upcoming three-hour 11/14 WWE Monday Night Raw taping in Boston. This same show will also feature an appearance by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson in what will be the go-home show for the Survivor Series PPV.
